I'm not a country fan at all, so I didn't think I would ever visit Neon Moon, but once I read about their Sippin' Santa Christmas event and Queen's Park had a private event. I decided to go. I have to admit the kicker was that on their website, they promised rockin' Christmas carols. When we went, the front area was filled, but luckily, there was plenty of seating in the back. Also, there was no line to get in the door like you will find at the Queen's Park's Miracle on 24th event. We definitely had a great time, and I even would go back. read more

A fun time! This place definitely has a country crowd - as to be expected. The "Our song" drink was refreshing and light. The woman bartender was less than friendly - maybe that's to be expected when it's extremely crowded but we were the very first ones in there and she was still acting like we bothered her. We'll be back but avoid her. read more

This place is pretty cool! I've been here both on a Tuesday and Friday. Both nights were pretty busy with Friday having a line outside, but it moved pretty fast. I probably only waited 10-15 minutes. The John Deere is my new favorite drink! It tastes like fresh baked cookies and is a very pretty drink. It did take a while to get drinks, but it's so worth it! I decided to take my parents and family friends to this place and by 11 I came out of the bathroom to a bouncer pushing my dad and a family friend out of the bar. They did nothing and wouldn't tell us why they had been "kicked out". And the police officer outside also was very confused and had no idea why they asked my friends and family to leave. We were just there to watch a football game. This was the worst service I have EVER experienced in my life. This place should be shut down or everyone fired. read more

Went to Neon Moon with my close friends and cousins after a small party. All of us were charged a "party fee" upon closing our tabs. We were not warned of this addition. We were all on our own separate tabs and ordered drinks independently. This is extremely disappointing as we enjoyed the bar. We will not be returning ever. read more

We went on a Thursday night. It was lovely and fun. The karaoke and dancing were a blast. They were out of the grasshopper, so we got the coffee drink and the it takes two. Both were delicious! The coffee drink was basically a coffee milkshake. read more

As a lifelong fan of 90s country, I was stoked to find that this place existed in my hometown. I literally want to franchise it and share it with the nation- nay, the world. Granted, I'd do some things differently, but I wouldn't change the neon signs or the playlist. If you like 90s country, you've got no excuse not to go here. If you hate it, though - first of all, WTF is wrong with you? - but secondly, you'll be miserable and should go down the street. read more

Okay, so this review is for a 44 year old guy who was bar hopping on a Thursday evening. I got out of the Lyft and was looked in through the window and said "Damn, that's a lot of woo girls." And then the bouncer said "Hey, we have a drink called that!" So I went in and it was mobbed and I ended up waiting to be served and then left. I was looking for a bar and this is more of a dance club, and that's totally cool! It's just not what I was looking for. I'm sure as this place grows, my review will be drowned out by people who know what they're getting and that's the goal. But for now, just be warned about the woo girls. read more

I wanted to like this place, it was so close to where we were staying but the music didn't seem to be something to dance to the night we went, and the dance floor, cool as it was with it lighting up, had a few soft spots where it felt like the glass squares want well supported. Service was poor. Bar was completely empty on a Saturday night at 9pm which should have been a red flag. Despite being the only 2 people in the bar, the bartender was unwelcoming and didn't speak to us at all. Drinks were ok. Experienced the most traumatic experience of my little queer life here. Was joking around with friends and changed their sign from "moon" to "mono" and "drink" to "drank". Whilst enjoying our silly little joke a bouncer came out and violently pushed me to the ground. He screamed at us at how childish we were and called me a gay slur (the f one). I was terrified since the inner atmosphere was a Caucasian safe haven but outside felt like a warzone from the Fallout series. There was an extremely rude bouncer that worked last night. He accused my friends and I of stealing, told us we would all go to jail if we did have it, frisked us, and found nothing. We were no where near where said item was, and had only been inside for about 10 minutes. Rather than leave us alone, he screamed at us to "Get the f*** out" and shoved a female while doing so as she was walking out the door. He told us that he was going to search everyone who walked out, but did not even look at any of the other patrons. learn how to read IDS. I came with a group here with women of age. We got denied because they weren't able to verify REAL IDs from different parts of the United States. Absolutely insane and we were treated with such disrespect. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. read more

Very very rude. We got asked to leave 5 minutes of us sitting inside because of an agitated customer claiming we had done something when we didn't. Asked the manager to show proof of us doing what the customer claimed but instead tried to throw more heat to the fire and make it a bigger issue. Security guard was nice about it, but the rest wasn't. Literally not even 5 minutes and we got kicked out... definitely don't recommend this place esp with the staff assuming like that. read more

We had so much fun at this bar! Such a great venue and fantastic atmosphere. Our night was truly made by the wonderful staff, specifically Andres and Guac, who went above and beyond for us. we went into this establishment looking forward to a fun and bright atmosphere. we drove past it, ecstatic with the environment that we were peeking at from the window. me and my group of beloved friends got our drinks, had fun, and walked outside. as we stood outside, next to the front entrance, we realized their marquee sign was a little messed up. as we tried to fix it, we switched two of the letters around without realizing we had accidentally spelled "neon moon" to "neon mono". we giggled about the accident, about to fix it. suddenly, the bouncer took it amongst himself to aggressively walk out to us, and curse at us while threatening to never let us back there if we did not fix the sign. appalled at the angry reaction, we quickly tried to fix it. this bouncer decided to come out again, and push the only male friend (might i add, he is queer and disabled) in our group to assert his male white dominance. i've never felt so much anger and aggression over such a small thing in my life, and i was uncomfortable and terrified to say the least. take this review as a forewarning to the staffing this establishment decides to hire. i will never return to this place, or recommend it ever again. read more
