The basement has a nightclub vibe, with lots of good EDM/rap music playing throughout the night. It's fairly large, and has good lighting/party effects. There is a bar and bathrooms down here as well. There isn't much seating downstairs as it is more for dancing. The first floor now contains two bars, and has plenty of seating. This is where you'll probably want to be if you want to sit and order some food, while also being in the bar environment. There are usually a decent amount of people on the first floor. The second floor has more of a lounge vibe, with a bar and a ton of seating. There is a beer pong table, and I think they sometimes do karaoke up here. If you just want to sit and chill, without loud music and lots of people, the second floor is where to go. 308 also has food, and I was surprised by how good it is. I have had a couple of their sandwiches, and for a bar, it is pretty darn good. It's not somewhere I would go out of my way to eat at, but it is good. The drink specials are generally pretty good; some notable specials they run are the $1 "you call it" shots, where the bartender just kind of pours whatever they want, and the $4 Titos specials. They have just about every type of liquor imaginable. The bathrooms here are kind of weird, and it can get very backed up when it's busy. The second floor one is particularly bizarre, being a unisex bathroom with a lock that also has multiple urinals/stalls, with no real divider between them. I'm not entirely sure how that one is supposed to operate. Overall though, 308 has become somewhere I go to semi-reguarly, particularly due to its multiple offerings. (Want to dance? Go to the basement. Want to just chill? Second floor. etc.) It's not a bad choice by any means if you're in the Purdue/West Lafayette area.

This particular party had a cash bar but you can make arrangements for it to be an open bar if you would like. The most exciting thing is you only have to have I think a $400 liquor minimum. Well if you have a decent crowd, I'm sure that's pretty easy. I also wasn't aware that they actually have a parking lot for your guests as well.

The place was very clean and had decent lighting for a bar. No country bar would be complete without a mechanical bull. This place in no exception. They have a bull that you can ride for an additional fee. The place has a very big dance floor in the middle, three bars (two were open while I was there), a stage, corn hole boards and an eatery (Rolyno's Pizza) that sells hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, sodas, and breadsticks. You will also find an outdoor patio out front that overlooks the parking lot. The drinks were reasonably priced, but there was always a long wait in line to get one. They were playing some real good music, a wide variety of country and hip-hop, and the line dancers really knew their stuff. I like this place. Parking was easy to find but of course you had to pay for it due to being out in broad ripple. I ended up paying for a meter parking which was not too bad at all. Once I walked to the vogue they had security there to check and make sure no one was bringing in any items they shouldn't. It was great that security is there. The security was friendly. After walking into building the space was very big. There were a lot of people in there but everyone was spread out. I love how they had an ADA section for people. There was a bar which the prices were your typical prices for drinks. Overall the experience for the concert was good.

The drinks tend to be more reasonably priced than Live Nation events. I was there a couple weeks ago and made sure to bring a clear purse and even measured it to make sure I wouldn't have any issues getting in through security. It was fine. When I was there last night the exact same purse was prohibited. Next time I'm going to bring a tape measurer with me so I don't have to go through that hassle again.
