Stranded at Sun and Fun resort in a 35 foot motorhome with an inner rear tire not holding air. My…read moreinsurance company, (GEICO) was totally useless... they wanted to send a tow truck to tow a 22,000 lb motor home. I then called the guys at Best Tire. I think his name was Travis took my information and promised someone would be out in two hours. He said they would be coming with a replacement tire in case mine couldn't be fixed. In about an hour, Cory showed up with the tools and equipment to get the job done. He pulled the wheels off and quickly discovered that my problem was a defective, leaking valve extension. He explained everything to me, we decided just to discard the extension. After refilling the tire, he put everything back together again and then waited to make sure my tire was holding air. He charged me a super reasonable service call and one hour of service. The whole thing was $118 for the work. BTW, the tire is holding air just fine after another 300 miles. It can be hard to know who to trust especially when there's usually no such thing as a cheap fix on a motor home. These guys and especially Cory are The Ones.
