Victor asked me to drop off the car on Monday 12/07 and the next morning I got the first updates, they sent me a link with a bunch of photos and notes of what they did to that point. Another part was needed so this may have delayed the process by a day, so yesterday 12/10 I got a call from Victor saying that the car was going to be ready before the end of the day, around 2pm I got a text and a phone call from Yani saying that the car was ready. I checked the link and it was a new photo showing the car completed. When I arrived to pick up and pay I got a total of $1475 (which was shown in the last update received) but I had an estimate of $1030, I understand when you are working with insurance you send them a "preliminary work" and then you can add a few or several "supplemental" and the insurance usually pays them, but this money was coming out of my pocket, so I was definitely expecting the $1,030 figure or a little less... all in all Victor explained to me the extra work done and reduced a bit the final number. Conclusion: I'm a hard person to please type of guy, I believe they did a really good job, the 3 days to finish the work is appropriate and the way they kept me informed with calls and photos is top notch! I highly recommend them, just be open to pay a bit more than originally expected...

By their own admission, the job I needed done was detailed and they did not feel "qualified" or "up to" the task. To be completely honest, some did not even know how to spell Maserati GranTurismo. I really thought I was at a dead end until I happened to find Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas' website. When I was viewing their photo gallery, I was surprised to see photos of Maseratis. With nothing to lose, I gave them a call. Within minutes of speaking to William (the owner), I knew his company was going to do the job. He mentioned items about my car that only a seasoned craftsman with extensive Maserati knowledge would know. Since I lived 4 hours away from the shop, I sent him photos of my interior. Within a day he followed up with a phone call to iron out some details. He provided a realistic quote and a sincere commitment to my 100% satisfaction. Early the next week, I drove my car to his shop in Miami. While driving, I was concerned that once he saw the car, the price would increase. That was not the case. The transformation should have taken at least 8 weeks. William's entire team worked on the car day, night and weekends. The process lasted four weeks (one week sooner than originally quoted) William was in constant communication. Every few days I would get updated videos and phone calls. I would get text messages and videos as late as 10PM. It was truly a collaborative effort. It was a give and take of ideas with several important elements; my complete and total satisfaction and happiness. So today I picked up my GranTurismo and it was a jaw dropping moment. My Maserati has NEVER looked so great!!! I am sincerely indebted to William and his team who worked on my car at Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas. Their attention to detail was amazing. What should have been a simple, inexpensive fix turned into the most outrageous, overpriced scam I have ever experienced. My Story: The damage to the car was minimal--just a small dent on the corner of the trunk door and a slightly misaligned bumper. The trunk still opened and closed perfectly fine, no scraping, just fine and there were no scratches anywhere. This should have been a quick and simple repair that, at most, would have cost $300 at a reasonable shop. But D'Professional Collision? They had the audacity to hand me a bloated estimate filled with completely unnecessary charges: * 8.9 hours of labor to fix a tiny dent? Lies. * 9.4 hours of painting and paint supplies--when there was no paint damage to begin with! * Replacing the car's nameplates--which were completely fine and untouched! At this point, I realized they were straight-up making things up to jack up the price. They prey on people who don't know much about car repairs and expect customers to blindly accept their outrageous estimates. This Place is a Den of Thieves The way they conduct business is criminal. They pad their estimates with bogus fees, overcharge for labor that doesn't need to be done, and shamelessly take advantage of their customers.
