We actually stayed at the hotel that runs this restaurant (25 Hours Langstrasse). I was concerned about eating at the hotel, but they quickly won us over. It's a fairly trendy spot, and it was packed on Friday night. Still the service was timely, the food was great, and the atmosphere lively. I had the "Hamshuka" which is minced beef and lamb, surrounded with hummus and a spicy sauce that gave it some kick. Excellent. If you're in this neighborhood, give Neni a shot, you won't regret it. read more

Wow good lord this food is fantastic. My friend Sahil and I came here on a weekday and were seated at the bar without a wait. We were lucky- the place was packed! It was really fun sitting at the bar- you could watch all the cooks do their thing and we were highly entertained. Sahil ordered the Sabich and I order a hummus trio with a side of falafel. It was more than enough food. The Sabich looked beautiful and whatever magic they did to the aubergine was fantaaaaastic. They were crunchy and wonderful. The falafel were also beautifully done and came with a side of wonderful sauce that I can't remember the name of now. I was also really impressed with the hummus trio. All three were very different and large portions. I kept picking a new favourite, it was hard to choose. We got beet, mango, and I think the regular. Neni is one of my favorite place in Vienna. So we decided to try it in Zurich also. As usual, everything is very tasty and fresh. Portions are big. Service is very friendly. If you love hummus and Israel food than you have to visit this place. It's better to make a reservation in advance. read more

We were a bit hesitant to eat at our hotel restaurant, but it smelled so good and the menu sounded good, so we relented. We're very happy we did. The food was really fantastic, most of it reminded us of Israeli or Lebanese food which we frequently eat in NYC - but our favorite may have actually been the out-of-left-field Korean Fried Chicken salad. They held true to the source food and had incredibly crunchy chicken (which unlike regular KFC was boneless), and in addition the flavors of the salad were great. Additionally we loved the "Cigars" (similar to kibbe or sambosek inside, but in spring roll wrappers instead) and falafel. Decor was also really nice (unsurprising given how cool the hotel is). Party of two went here for New Year's Eve. The food was absolutely delicious but it took us two hours to get our first two courses. I even asked if they were understaffed and they said no. I am more than willing to be flexible for Covid issues but there was no acknowledgment of our time or their tardiness. Thankfully, the management reached out to rectify the situation. Warning to US and international travelers, you are not allowed in. The manager will go out of the way to only allow Swiss guests with a local COVID QR code in. We stayed at the 25h hotel but were refused to eat there. We had attended an international conference in Bern and had only good experiences in Bern. Gave it another go, the service was better but the fact that they have a time limit on a week day doesn't sit well, with our party because we were eating and drinking. They also charge you CHF 5, for flat table water-- what??!. It just seems like they care about making money instead of having happy customers, which rubs us the wrong way. The food was good but not great however it's the atmosphere that really is important and this place gives off a "we don't really need you here, please eat and go" feeling. It's a shame since the location and interior is nice. So I believe we could only stay for 2 hours in total or maybe 2:30 hours max- if it was a weekend we get it but during mid week, I just don't. read more

I heard so much about this new near east style Restaurant so I had to test it!:-) First of all, i love this Kind of Food and already been in several places here in zurich. so this means, i can compare it a little bit! :-) the interior is really modern and stylisch. its like a living room. you feel your self confortable very soon. First the waiter brang us some amuse bouche. pita bread with creme freche, olive oil on it and some fresh black and green olives. that appatizer was ok. not more, not less. the menu sounds so delicious, that you want to order everything!:-) i choose the Jerusalem Plate. it is grilles chicken stripes with vegetables (onions, peppers and other stuff) bedded on a Special style of humus. this humus is sooo delicious! awesome! Its texture is like mashed patatoes. Kind of!:-) very creamy. the chicken is well spiced. also with Cilantro, which a love! it all Comes with some home made pita bread. this bread for it self is very tasty. and in combination with the meat and humus.... amazing. i can recommend to visit this place when you like this Kind of Food. the place is very nice. it was definitively not my last time there! read more

Food was ok-- my eggplant was good but clearly not made to order and not huge. Service was friendly and competent. But 4chf per peron for water? And the server said that was for "unlimited" water, though she never offered once to refill it. If u can, try to avoid this place! The food is ok, average, mostly some oriental food dishes with all kinds of spices and vegetables. Also some food comes served on an aluminum plate, which off course means it will get cold in first two minutes. And lastly, the stuff is absolutely horrible. They are not friendly, they don't even bring u napkins, you have to go and grab them yourself. And the most important u gonna wait hell of a time to get the bill. We waited 20min for somebody to come around and we were not the only ones. After a long day of traveling I just wanted some quick food and get to bed and not spending my time like this.. read more

Decent restaurant in a hip area. Food is typical Zurich places. Service is hit or miss. The appetizers are great, but the hummus trio all seems a bit too similiar to me. The Moroccan cigar dish is well worth the trip here though. read more

Amazing Mediterranean food. Sat at the bar and had the best chef make us amazing little treats. Really cool, good ambiance and great food. The bar attached to the restaurant is also super hip and had fun drinks. The whole area around the restaurant is gritty but also very cool. It's definitely a different part of Zurich. Attempted to eat here on 3 occasions and each time the service was worse than before. Believe the reviews about the horrible service. I would like to point out that due to the incredibly rude service I've experience on all 3 occasions I was not given the opportunity to enjoy the food. The staff need some badly needed training in service or better still fire them and find people who understand the meaning of working in the service industry. They seem to be very in empt in being able to serve and as for the guy Marcel he has no manners and doesn't know how to speak to people. I have noted that if you not white you treated very differently. This place may be cool in decor, location and have amazing food but the service seems to be sorely lacking. read more
