The idea behind this restaurant is excellent-- the execution still needs a little work. We came in during the winter and it was coldddd. Not sure if the fuse was out or they were trying to save energy, but half the lights were out and only some of the heat lamps were on. To make things worse, we were seating right against the window side.
Aside from freezing while we ate, the food was just mediocre. The concept of their food/menu sounded great, but it just where I had hoped it would be in terms of taste.
We started with the humus with pickled vegetables, calamari, and a soup. Appetizers were the better part of the meal. Split a steak, kebabs, and whole fish along with a side of brussel sprouts. Good enough to eat, but not good enough to recommend anything. read more
