However, earlier this week I went in to catch the last day of the 40% off sale on Emerald paint. This Costco location is well-organized and clean. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I have…read morenoticed that the associates working there have a good attitude and stay on task with their duties. I have spoken with many and they all like the company they work for and their pay rates/benefits. Happy workers = better service and company. One thing I learned was that if you have an "Executive Membership," you get 2% back from your expenditures that have accrued over the year of membership. The Costco credit card has more benefits that result in more earnings towards credits that can be used for renewal or shopping. Costco will pay the difference in cost from the "Gold Star" to be an "Executive" member if you don't earn enough money back from the 2% benefit over the cost of the difference. You can keep the 2% back, and you get that amount to spend how you want. If you choose to use the credit towards your yearly renewal, Costco will pay the difference it costs to have an Executive membership. A member that buys a lot from Costco will benefit the most from an Executive membership. I received a nice check last year, which got my entire yearly membership paid for, plus extra money to spend! It's a win-win deal. Compared to other discount clubs, Costco is the best, in my opinion. My opinion is based on the the customer service, quality of products, and value. The quality of Costco's brand (Kirkland) is just as good, if not better in regards to their products. They have a satisfaction guarantee on Kirkland products to give their customers a chance to try them without risk/loss. Returns are very easy and efficient. For example, I returned a broken printer after I had it for 2 years. Costco gave me a full refund (in store credit) that I used to purchase a new one. Overall, I am satisfied with the goods and services offered at Costco.

As mentioned in another review, Rick talks a great story line. We had a 12x20 barn built in our…read morebackyard over the course of about a week. The price he gave us included demolishing a present shed, which they did. It was hot, and rained one day, which is probably why it took them longer than usual. They placed it in the right spot, leaving room for our garden. After they finished and left, I installed the door lockset, and found the pre-installed door to be off, whereas I had to chisel a new, lower spot for the lockset to fit properly. One trim board has a large knot missing, and I had to bring to their attention a couple small trim boards missing, before they left. The double door hinges rusted the first time it rained. We called Rick, and got many excuses every time we called; one time it was too far for him to come to us (but it wasn't too far for him to come and talk with us the first time and scope out where the shed would go), next time his truck was broken down, and one time he was going through a divorce. WOW! He even gave us excuses that his supplier must have sent him the wrong hinges that rust, but still will not replace them or give us a slight discount to replace them my self. I'm sure there are other shed building companies that you can call that will give you better service.

The store has definitely changed since the last time I was here, I love how there's so many different varieties of household items in the store and for pretty decent prices too.
