Joel and his son Devon are now building on site a shed that is, pardon the play on words, far superior to the one we had originally evaluated. It is custom built to our specifications and is nearly half the cost. The office staff have been very customer focused making this a very personal experience for us. I had contacted the owner by phone and he wanted to do an onsite inspection to get an accurate…read moreestimate. That made perfect sense to me. He was out of town and said it would be a couple days before he could come by. After several phone calls and texts and 2 months later he actually made it. We did discuss many options in detail and was pleased with his consultation. He then emailed me the quote which did sound reasonable for what I was wanting done. I had a couple questions so I called him and had to leave a message which I understand as well. 5 days went by with no response so I was forced to send an email. It did express my frustrations with the lack of timely responses. He then replied with basically a "thanks but no longer interested in your business" email. I also replied asking if that was truly the intent of his email and it is now a couple weeks later and have not heard back yet. I am begining to think I dodged a bullet.

Paid in full upfront. 3 weeks later it arrived. Looks great. However, I was delivered an 11x16 shed. Contacted the business and (in a polite tone) explained the discrepancy. The business claimed the shed dimensions are measured from the eve of the roof. Explained that before purchasing the shed I had been shown another 12x16 shed on the lot and had measured it to verify that it was in fact 12x16. The business, rather than be of any assistance, invited me out to measure any shed I want to (sarcastically inferring that I was a liar). If this is how you treat client's that have paid in full, this is the last business you will receive from me.

I seen they were hiring and called to inquire some details about the position and pay. The lady who answered mentioned today would be a good day to talk to the owner since it was cold and they weren't busy. The owner got on the phone, I introduced myself, and asked about hours and the rate of pay. He said it depends on your qualifications. So when I began telling him about my qualifications, (CDL, can operate all his equipment, plus a vast knowledge of soil science, microbiology, & horticulture) he rudely interrupted me after maybe 30 sec and told me he "doesn't have time to listen to me carry on about my qualifications"! I don't really need the position, so it doesn't affect me financially. I was just looking for something to do that I enjoy doing and help the company out who was short handed. I'm over qualified by far. I would never work for someone who is so rude that they interrupt you mid sentence when you're simply sharing your experience and qualifications with them. They are the ones looking for help, I was just trying to help them get through the season. If you don't even have 2 minutes of your time to listen then you don't deserve this quality of employee.
