I'd been over to the big box stores day before and everyone who knew anything was "on lunch for another 20 minutes". Was immediately greeted by a lovely mustachioed man named Martin (thank you again, Martin!). He walked me through what I needed to do and guided me around the various aisles picking up parts. You could feel the difference in the confidence and expertise of the employees here (this is the first small hardware store I've been to for projects)- they're professional, hardware nerds! Martin even had that goofy sense of humor so not only was the trip very efficient, it was quite fun. Which, is not something you get to say often about errands. oh! they even had fresh buttered popcorn at the registers :)

Started very quickly (only 4-5 pulls at the house) and handled/cut very well. The owner says he has a second store where they service them all. He also said the mowers get a full cleaning/inspection before being put out for sale. Also, it sounds like he stands behind the product if there are any problems with it. He also gave us some ideas of fun stuff to do in town, since my wife & I are new here. Would totally recommend this place!

Not very impressed. Couldn't find anyone in the outdoor power equipment section. Pushed the "need…read morehelp" button at the service desk. No one came, so I went to the return/refund/customer service desk. Two clerks were there assisting customers. One finished and walked off. Didn't acknowledge me or say, "We will be with you in a moment." Nothing. So, the remaining customer service rep finally called someone for me. After hanging up the phone, she said, "There is someone going to that aisle, or there's someone at the service desk now." As I headed over, the guy at the desk was walking off. I called out to him, but he kept going. So, back I went to the original aisle.....waited another 5 minutes and no one showed up. Back to the customer desk, and pressed the "Need assistance button." Someone finally came that time. He showed me what I needed, and provided some details, but kept asking, "Any more questions" as though he was anxious to break off contact with me. Not sure if I'll be back to this Lowe's. If I do.....I hope it's a better experience. I should have talked to the manager, but I was peeved already.
