Incredible dance behind the scenes of the team making this food. Incredible meal. Not inexpensive, but excellent. I had the goat cheese salad, and the fried goat cheese ball what's the best I've ever tasted. My friend had a filet mignon steak, and we ordered a side of the baked beans and the scalloped potatoes. Everything was delicious. Like I said, wasn't inexpensive but it was delicious. However happy hour is very reasonable, $6 Manhattans and inexpensive wine. A couple of items on the menu if you're a meat eater are happy hour reasonable. Highly recommended for a high-end treat. Our servers at the bar for wonderful and did a great job, very knowledgeable about the entire menu

The staff were incredible and gave us all the attention you could ask for. The meal started well, the buffalo crisps were amazing. I decided to go with one of two options for the "Reason" which included a 12oz bone in steak, veggies, potato's and crab claw for $90. Overall the dish was a solid 6/10 for myself Steak: 10/10 good flavor and charred perfectly Veggies: cooked perfect and seasoned Potato: Unsure the flavor profile exactly but very lemon forward, good for some I'm sure but I was not a fan. Crab: This was the real bummer, for the $90 price tag I was hoping for a bit more than a spoonful of meat. Taste wise it was great, but left me wanting more. Overall a fantastic place and experience, will be back for sure!

It should be named "Jakes near the Lake" but we could not of had a better experience. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Sarah, was awesome. She was attentive and extremely pleasant. Now to the food. We got the platter and got to sample most of the fish they have, except for the salmon. I will say it was delicious. Wasn't a fan of the fries, but that's on me because I don't like fresh cut fries. The drinks were great. My wife got a pear martini and it was delicious. I would def recommend this place for anyone in the area wanting some great food.

If you're going for a lake view restaurant, this wasn't it. Upon entering, we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady. Seated by the window, we were pleased by the menu and the daily specials. Our server was very prompt and courteous. We ordered the walleye sandwich and the perch sandwich. Both sandwiches came with hand cut french fries and coleslaw. Our son ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup. Our food arrived very promptly. My wife and I both loved the fish and felt that it was one of the best fish sandwiches we've had in a long time. The fries were rather limp and could use some more attention by the kitchen to make them stand out more. I like a mayo based coleslaw, so I didn't really love the slaw, although it was fresh and tart. The soup was very tasty and the grilled cheese was done just right! Overall, we would recommend this restaurant and we can tell that the local crowd likes this place and has kept it in business for a long time. Now if they only had that lake view restaurant!

The portobello mushroom was marinated in balsamic. I'm not typically a fan of balsamic, but since I love Portobello I gave it a try. Unfortunately the balsamic marinade was too much, I almost choked with the first 3 bites. Both of my daughters tried the mushroom and agreed that it was too much balsamic marinade. This was the first time I returned a meal. Our waitress, Brenda, was AMAZING. She quickly had me order something else, which was promptly brought out to me (and it was delicious). Throughout the rest of our meal she continually apologized. I was not angry...I understood. She made this possibly bad experience a good one. My daughters enjoyed their meals. (Unfortunately my granddaughter did not enjoy hers - she ordered mac-n-cheese - and according to her it was tasteless.) Regardless, I love Bistro83 and I will go back, and the wonderful way we were treated is one of the reasons.

That was honored , so thank you . However , The food was underwhelming at best . We were sat immediately but didn't get our meals until almost 645 . We ordered hot chips for an appetizer and they came on a salad plate? They practically slid off the plate when placed on the table . A basket of some type would present a lot better IMHO like most restaurants do w like apps. I know it seems picky but I feel as though this is supposed to be a little more upscale than an Applebees . My mom and I ordered the Garlic Shrimp scampi , the noodles were Al dente which I prefer , but they all stuck together in a ball , both dishes and there was zero flavor and the dish was hardly hot temperature wise . My fiancé had the chicken Marsala and he said he should have just had a burger . The kids meals were enjoyed more than the entrees ~ chicken tenders and fries were good ! The waitress acknowledged and apologized for the long wait and manager comped us desserts . My mom had the crème brûlée , she did enjoy. I tried a white strawberry type cake , it was awful . It looked great but it was dry and watery when bit into the cake . It's like it was in a too cold refrigerator too long . The consistency was like packed cold sand that fell apart in your mouth . Just not good . I really wanted this to be a great experience, NR is my hometown and my mom still lives there , we visit a lot . I'd hoped it could be a better than it was because the atmosphere is beautiful and the server was great ~ but what is up w the food an experience that wasn't worth the price tag unfortunately.

We hosted approximately 40 guests in one of their private event spaces, which included a beautiful patio and provided the perfect setting for our family and friends to come together. The private room gave us the opportunity to share toasts, speeches, memories, and support one another in a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. The food was absolutely outstanding. We selected a variety of appetizers along with an open bar, and every item was delicious. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful everything was. A special thank you goes to Erin, the manager, who was exceptional from start to finish. She promptly returned calls and emails, met with me personally at the restaurant, and was present throughout the entire event to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail made a difficult time much easier for our family. The staff was equally impressive. Our bartenders were friendly, attentive, and fantastic throughout the evening. As an added touch, the team even packed individual containers of leftover food for guests to take home, which was greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend Antica highly enough. Whether you're planning a celebration, shower, family gathering, or memorial reception, their food, service, and hospitality are truly exceptional.
