I don't know much about Nelson Square Building, located on Nelson and Howe (in fact, I didn't even know that the building had a name), but it appears to be some sort of office building, and it has a medical clinic in it--that's all I know. The reason I am writing a review about it is, during the month of May, there was a free art exhibit in the lobby.
The name of the exhibit, "Tian Tian Xiang Shang", a Chinese proverb meaning "make progress everyday," featured statues of Tian Tian, a character from a comic created by artist Danny Yung (see here for more info: https://curiousandcreative.com/). There were statues of different sizes decorated by various artists and children from local schools. As my friend and I were looking at the exhibit, the curator came up and gave us information on the exhibit, which was really helpful, and she said that there will be future art exhibits in the lobby of the building. So keep your eye out for free art exhibits in the Nelson Square Building! read more
