We were broke down on the side of I20 in the pouring rain. Aaron was our first call and boy he was a lifesaver. He immediately wanted to know what our issue was. He came out within 20 minutes in the pouring rain with a battery to get us enough power to get us off of that very busy, very frightening freeway. Still stuck on the side of the service road Aaron removed the alternator then traveled to the auto parts store to have it tested. When it was determined we needed a new alternator he purchased it brought it back to us and installed it. We were back on the road. I would recommend him to anyone needing service. Thank you Aaron!

I have used this location twice now and have always received great service for picking up the…read moreequipment that I needed and assisting me in putting the equipment on my trailer. There were two helpful gentlemen at the front desk. However, a man approached us, who appeared to be a manager, who had overheard our conversation, at which he chimed in abruptly. I had asked for a quote on a larger excavator in which the guys initially were working on for me. The appeared manager asked what my intended use for it was and I replied with tree and dirt work and before finishing the sentence he was shaking his head as that of a child would do if not getting their way. I replied with "ok" and he continued with letting me know that I have to have commercial insurance, which i currently possess, and continued with the saying that " i will probably damage the equipment. The "manager" explained they were purchased for an oil company and not intended for the manner in which I had talked about. Personally, his act was not professional at all. I do have experience with the machines and to just assume that I would misuse the machine was unprofessional, and quite frankly rude and churlish. I am appreciative of the two younger guys at the front desk that assisted me in checking if the equipment was available and coming up with a quote. If the equipment is out front for rental, it appears to be ready for use. If not, then i would suggest moving to another location.

When I asked them to enter the correct weight on a shipping label, they argued and claimed it wasn't necessary -- which is simply not true. Customers should be aware: shipping companies charge based on both actual and dimensional weight. If your package is even slightly over the stated size or weight, you can be hit with extra charges -- and worse, your shipment may not be properly insured. If something happens during transit, you're out of luck. It's unacceptable for a shipping store to refuse to enter accurate information on a label. UPS already has a reputation for overcharging, and this location makes it even worse. We need a new UPS Store & more than one because this one is unethical & unprofessional. If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid this store if you can -- Longview deserves better.

They are amazing at customer service. Cody, one of the owners, actually spent over an hour of his time, showing me how to do general maintenance and didn't charge me for it, amazing. After the recent storms, they were backlogged over three weeks and couldn't replace my mower deck spring but instead of turning me away, he sold me the part and gave me perfect instructions on how to do it myself. I was finalizing negotiations on my property for sale which is 6 hours from where I live. The house was empty and ready to be sold when a hidden basement was suddenly discovered! It was in total disrepair and full of decades old stored items and garbage from the previous owners. We were panicked and needed to find someone in a whole other city to clear out this space ASAP. I contacted every junk removal company in the area and the few that bothered to respond were unavailable for weeks or quoted outrageous prices in the thousands clearly taking advantage of my situation. Fortunately, I saw Pack Rat Junk Removal's listing on a local Facebook Group so I sent them a message and Robby immediately responded. He was incredibly kind, polite and assured that he'd be able to accommodate my requests and get the job done for me ASAP! He went above and beyond working with my fluctuating schedule requests and even made sacrifices of his own personal schedule to make sure I was taken care of and the job would be completed. They did such an impeccable job, offered incredibly reasonable prices and truly followed through with their commitments. I'll continue to proudly recommend their services to all my neighbors and friends!
