I've been coming here since 2019 my sister bought a car, had a great experience! So when it came time for me to get one I came and have been a repeat customer ever since. With a grand total of 14 plus cars over the last few years that either I bought or I brought someone in and they purchased a vehicle. This time I found one I liked and did the paperwork it was late. They were going to do some last-minute detailing and the next day I came to finish the paperwork and didn't even go look at it because I just saw it yesterday nothing should be different. Jokes on me. It had a chip in the paint on the front that they touched up.... But they got overspray on everything. The entire bumper had overspray, headlights, grill, and fog lights. They told me to bring it back the next time I'm free and they will fix it no problem. It's right after Christmas before New Year's so they were closed I brought back the next business day they were open. I loved the car, but this wasn't the car I purchased. It looked like it had been wreaked and someone spray painted on it to fix it. Embarrassing. It's within "3 days 300miles" so I told them I didn't want it. I'd get something else. That's when they told me that really doesn't mean 3 business days. 3 actual days. Which was Sunday (closed) and Monday (New Year) (closed) so they told me they would fix it. So I arranged a way to leave it and get back home. They told me it was fixed. I asked my roommate to take me there again. (It's about 30 minutes out of my way) and it looked the same. They did some rim repair on 2 rims and didn't touch the paint. So I left it again. Still haven't heard anything...don't even want it anymore and I'm betting I'll have to pay a body shop to repair it. 01/12/24 will be two weeks without the car I bought that when I picked it up was damaged by the dealership that I trustED "ED" past tense

Preowned 2015 Camaro SS with 24K miles

Overall a great experience at Nelson Mazda Tulsa. My boyfriend purchased a preowned 2015 Camaro SS with 24K miles. We made an appointment the day before, and drove down from Kansas City the next day. The Nelson Mazda Tulsa facility recently underwent major renovations so it was looking very fresh - almost Apple Store like - with plenty of comfortable waiting and conferencing areas. But we didn't have to wait! Alex, our sales associate, met us promptly, offered us complimentary beverages, introduced us to the Team Lead, and gave us a run down of the process and the car itself. Next, we took it for a test drive. Then, we gave it a full inspection. Lastly, we went inside to complete the paperwork and purchase! Alex and all of the Nelson Mazda staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, helpful, and patient. Their motto is to make purchasing a car as fun as driving it! The process from beginning to end took a little less than 2 hours. The staff isn't commission based so it feels more like they are working for YOU and less for the commission. A majority of the paperwork was via electronic signature and printed at the end for your records. Thank you Nelson Mazda for making our car purchasing experience fun and painless!

    Spare tire thrown in trunk.
    J W.

Got a flat tire and had the tire warranty being that they were new. When they put a new tire on they then just threw the spare tire in the trunk. Didn't notice it until driving and it was sliding around. It bent and cracked the spare tire cover so now that does not lay flat and is curved.

do not take your car there for any repairs or service, they will rip you off, very in professional, specially the one with long beard.

I bought a brand new 2026 Chevy Trax from South Pointe in November of 2025. I have had to put it in the service department now three times due to the engine light coming on - twice for engine/transmission issues and once for emissions. The car is still under 8,500 miles, by the way. My last visit I was told that the engine was losing oil but they could not find the source of the leak. They put more oil in it and sent me on my way, this after sitting in the waiting area for 2 1/2 hours. After speaking with them I was told there was nothing that could be done and that I should check the oil every few weeks because they cannot trace the source of the leak. This is unacceptable on a brand new vehicle that I paid sticker price for. I also left several voicemails for the General Manager which were not returned and had to finally track him down at the dealership to express my concerns, none of which were meaningfully addressed. Nothing has been and nothing is going to be done by this dealership to make this "lemon" that they sold me right. Use caution before buying here because I can tell you they do not care about you after the sale.

Complaint Regarding South Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Service Department…read more I am extremely disappointed with the service we received from South Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. We initially brought our Jeep in because it was displaying a "Check 4-Wheel Drive System" warning light. Upon arrival, a technician came outside, connected a diagnostic scanner to the vehicle, and informed us that several fault codes were present. Based on this information, we scheduled a service appointment for the dealership to diagnose and repair the issue. After keeping our Jeep for approximately one week, we were told that the dealership was unable to duplicate the problem. We were informed that the fault codes had simply been cleared and that no repairs were performed. We were also told that a recall had been completed during the vehicle's stay. When we requested documentation of the work performed, we were advised that the service advisor was unable to print the repair order and would email it to us. That email was never received. Now, only two weeks later, our Jeep will not start at all. This morning, the check engine light, service light, and charging system warning light all appeared. When I contacted South Pointe to explain the situation and request assistance, I was told that we would be responsible for the towing expense. This response is unacceptable. The vehicle was drivable when we brought it in for service. The dealership identified fault codes, kept the vehicle for a week, performed no repairs, cleared the codes, and returned it to us. Now the vehicle is inoperable, yet we are expected to pay additional money for towing and further diagnostics. To make matters worse, customers can no longer contact the service department directly. Calls are routed through an overseas call center, making it difficult to speak with someone who is actually familiar with the vehicle or the service history. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend South Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The lack of communication, failure to properly diagnose and repair the vehicle, failure to provide requested documentation, and unwillingness to assist when the vehicle became inoperable have resulted in significant frustration and inconvenience. I am requesting that dealership management review this matter immediately and contact me regarding a resolution.

I have many years in the automotive service business and there is always a cause to any complaint. Never once have they given one just kept throwing new parts at a problem. Now after changing the engine, which did not fix the problem, the heater core is plugged with trash from the salvage engine. To make matters worse they want to charge me 1700.00 to change it out. Most of the vehicles were out of state, so i had 2 shipped to Tulsa. My first experience wasn't great. I initially worked with Tyler, who didn't seem to take me seriously. Because my license listed a different city, he assumed I was taking a 24-hour test drive out of town and denied me the opportunity. It left a bad taste in my mouth and made me hesitant to continue. Still, I had already shipped two cars in, so we decided to try again--and I'm glad we did. This time I worked with Maegan, and she completely turned the experience around. She was kind, professional, and actually treated me like a customer. I wasn't a fan of the automated text responses (those bots got confusing), but Maegan always helped clear things up quickly and made the process feel more personal. She assisted me with test driving the vehicles, navigating the trade-in process, and even using the 10-day return policy. I really liked both cars I shipped in, but ended up going with the Toyota in the end. It arrived later which is why I bought my first and ended up returning the car and getting the later. There were some hiccups with slow computers and what looked like system changes, which could easily frustrate anyone--but Maegan stayed patient and was incredibly helpful through it all. If you go to CarMax Tulsa, I definitely recommend working with Maegan!

Professional service, but two major safety oversights…read more I have mixed feelings about my recent experience at Purdy Hyundai. I brought my 2024 Hyundai Elantra in for a 30,000-mile service (costing $1,100), but what followed was an incredibly stressful and dangerous afternoon. The Issues: Engine Failure: After leaving, my car blew a cloud of black smoke and lost power while entering the freeway in heavy semi-truck traffic. I had to limp back to the dealership with the engine shaking. It turns out a step was missed during the fuel line cleaning, leaving non-fuel residue in the lines. Undercarriage Failure: After the first "fix," I headed home again. 40 minutes into my drive, the front undercarriage cover fell halfway off and began dragging. I was stranded on a rural stretch of the freeway, 40 minutes from the dealership. The Recovery: Despite these major mechanical oversights, the staff at Purdy Hyundai were exceptionally kind and professional. When I called from the side of the road--exhausted and frustrated--they were apologetic and immediately offered a loaner and a tow. While they didn't have staff available to drive to my rural location that evening, they coordinated through Hyundai AAA to get me off the road quickly. The next morning, they replaced the damaged panel and personally drove my car out to my home (almost an hour away) to deliver it to me. Verdict: The technicians clearly made some significant errors that put me in a dangerous situation. However, the management and service advisors handled the aftermath with grace and high-level accountability. They made it right, even though the experience was a nightmare. I appreciate their kindness, but I hope their service department implements better quality control checks in the future. I thought about giving a star rating of 3, but chose 4 instead because I've taken my car here for all service needs since I bought it, and have had nothing but positive experiences. I also chose to give a score of 4 stars because of the professionalism and accountability from all staff members who helped me. My car is doing much better now, as am I.

She rolled her eyes and whipped her head back as if I had said something inappropriate. I let her know that we're a serious buyer, and if that is a problem I can leave. I then asked her to go get her Manager due to being rude after that. (She never got one) We waited 20minutes to find a car we found online after being told it was there. To then be told it got sold, to then pick out another car listed which was listed with no damage... had deep scratches down the right side and took 20 minutes to find as well. They weren't willing to change the pricing in anyway, so we decided to walk. Before walking out, the sales manager offered us a base model ELANTRA for 19.9k. After going up and down on different cars for a hour, I wanted to think about it. We came back 3 days later and the Manager said it was only that day...never communicated that at all. We already bought a brand new car from Kia so I don't need a solution from Hyundai. But I did feel that it was important to share that this dealership did not make us feel valued, or welcomed in anyway. Even if they weren't able to keep that exact deal coming out to shake our hands and apologize would've gone a long way.
