Sinclair was quick with their service, but also took time to answer questions and explain what the problem was with my vehicle. When I followed up with additional questions they clearly explained things in a way I could understand. They also took the time to show my husband and I what was the source of the issue. We also happened to share that we had a nail in the tire that we noticed when it was loaded up on the tow truck prior to our arrival, mentioning that we would need to go get the tire taken care of after we left Sinclair. They then went above and beyond to taking care of the screw that was in the tire. A day later they called to see if I made it back home safely. Thankful for the care they showed even after we left! We are beyond thankful for the customer service, attention to detail, communication and reliability! We plan to be back!

So according to them, the extra 30 days and 150-200 driving miles on 37 inch tires ruined their "LIFETIME TRANSMISSION"!! Seriously, what a joke. Mind you that I drove the truck 175,000 miles with 37 inch tires!! I did not have the receipt, and the shop that did the Gearing work is under new name/ownership, so it has a new invoicing system and cannot get me a receipt. HOWEVER, "LIFETIME TRANSMISSION" knows the people at the shop. So I asked them to call the shop and verbally confirm the regearing. Mind you its a shop that they have worked with before.... they said not good enough... WOW. SO I asked, well can you please look at the vehicle and have your mechanics confirm it is regeared....they said not good enough.....WOW. In retrospect, when I went back and looked at reviews from Google, Yelp, Carfax and others.... there are other people who have had similar issues. You have to find them in the fluff reviews from their staff- I am sure. But those reviews are there..... and based on my experience they are likely real!!! The dealers fix was to replace whole transmission but after shopping around I decided to go with Lifetime Transmissions. It was a little higher than other shops but the lifetime warranty is included in the price. Staff was friendly, helpful, and gave me peace of mind that the rebuild was going to be done right. Bonus, I also got to keep my original transmission. Lifetime put better parts and calibrated my transmission to where I don't have to worry about it going out in another 125k. Valerie was very thorough about maintaining the transmission for the lifetime warranty. The process was simple and straightforward, and my Silverado was back on the road very quickly. Said that they looked over it and there were no known issues. Took it for the test drive...seemed okay. The first red flag should have been when he said that we needed to buy their warranty because if the turbo went out, the warranty would pay for itself. We asked if there was a problem with the turbo. He said no, he wouldn't sell it if there was an issue but if an issue came up with it, the warranty was good to have. Car was for our daughter, we trusted him. She did not have the extra funds for the warranty. Signed all the paperwork and started driving home. Check engine light came on....should have been our second clue and should have taken it back then. Drove back to the car lot, Joe looked at it and said that it wasn't reset from oil change. He reset the light. Fast forward to three weeks later, engine light stayed on, key fob stopped working, air conditioner quit working. Made several calls....if they did answer or return call, was told should have purchased the warranty. purchased an outside warranty, took it to the shop for repair and low and behold, turbo wastegate is bad, effects the air conditioner. Because the waste gate is on the outside of the turbo, isn't covered under warranty. Husband went back to Big Mike's today and showed them the $5k mechanics bill for the $7k car we bought from them three months ago. Was told, you should have bought our warranty, we could have gotten it covered. Conversation went bad and Joe told my husband, "man I thought we were friends and then you go and blast me!" Damn straight we did. They sold us a piece of shit car that they knew had a turbo problem that we are not stuck with. Yes, I am going to let everyone know not to by a vehicle from them. They are shading as hell and do not care that they sell piece of shit cars as long as they get the sale. Now I know that people will say that that is the chance you take when you purchase a used car and do not get the warranty and I cannot argue that. Then they towed my vehicle to Claremore and a few days later I received a call that the price would be $2200.00, So I agreed to that. They completed the overhaul a few weeks later and when I got the call it was done the price went up to $2460.00. When I picked up the car it was filthy and oil was on the top of it along with tons of bird crap. I checked it over and found one of the axles loose. The 6 retaining nuts that held the axle on were finger tight, also the transmission mount was broken and they didn't even replace that. I drove the car until today 12-16-2016 then the transmission completely went out. Had to have it towed home. This business is bad news to deal with. The prices change from the original price quoted and they do shoddy work. Very unprofessional. Beware of doing business with Southside Transmission. I only got 22 months out of their overhaul.
