Not so sure I would do that again. Their work left our home filling with sewer gas on a daily basis. They broke power and water lines leaving parts of the house, and one bathroom without electricity and/or hot water. The same goes to our pastureland and wildlife watering station. They also destroyed a concrete sidewalk, which we had to replace. To their credit, they came and repaired their damage (except the sidewalk) after a threatening letter from me. They did tremendous damage to the land itself. Our pasture now has a one foot differential between high and low spots. They have yet to provide me with legal paperwork detailing permits, inspections or legal procedures, as requested in my September letter. They are great people, but I'm not sure I would ever hire them again.

Found Bluefrog Plumbing and Drain on Facebook by accident! Honestly, I had no idea what will happen…read more(as I just got scammed by another plumber). I decided to give them a try as they do provide free estimate in-person. I needed a second opinion so bad for the clogged up atrium drain situation because I believed that my previous plumber had been scamming me after spending 10 hours plus to get the drain unclogged with no solution. Anyway, Bluefrog's Facebook ad got my attention. They seemed to have many pretty awesome reviews so I went ahead and called them up on 7/18/25 around 11am. My call was answered promptly. I then went on telling them what exactly was going on. The operator told me that okay someone would show up between 3-5pm the same day. I was like oh that was super duper great and I would see their plumber that afternoon! Shortly after I hanged up the phone, they called right back and said that instead of having their plumber coming over between 3-5pm, he would be at my home right away at around 11:30am! I was very impressed because I had to go somewhere in the afternoon. I did not expect any prompt service at all! I preferred to get this second opinion as it would prove that my intuition was right about my previous plumber was a scammer! Alfredo Jhonson was the plumber that day! I recall he arrived at around 11:50am. Super friendly with very beautiful smiles, very polite and very professional! I showed him the atrium drain and explained the entire mess to him. Alfredo was very attentive and also he surely was an excellent listener. I stressed that I truly hoped that he could figure out where the clog was at. After hearing my entire situation, he suggested that he would try to run the water hose by putting the pressured bladder on the tip of the hose just to see where the water would go out to ... He kept saying that the water got to go somewhere ... He re-ensured me that every problem comes with a solution! He will try all his best to figure out where the drain outlet was. Unlike my previous scammer plumber, Alfredo allowed me to tag along with him for the entire investigation! He explained everything in details. He did not bring up anything about payments or estimates. He was 100% focusing on finding the solution. He made it pretty clear that he would be very transparent about everything. I no longer needed to worry. Alfredo completely got me! I was extremely pleased to know that there are still pretty honest/competent/ethical plumbers out there! Alfredo surely is one of these freaking amazing plumbers! He was destined to help me out with this mess. Alfredo spent close to an hour searching for the running water. He checked the storm drain, but the running water was not coming out there. My scammer plumber told me that it came out there! The running water did not come out from my back patio drain as we knew that they are not connected like that. At this point, Alfredo was like he had no idea and he was afraid that I would have to order the drain plan blueprint from the City of Houston as we were walking back to the atrium. Before we entered my home, he suddenly looked at the ground near the community shrubs in front of my home ... running water was showing up! Alfredo then said that was it ... the atrium drain outlet was somewhere under the community shrubs! I told my family that Alfredo found the drain outlet! What a big relief! All of us were at ease! Alfredo noted that storm water drain does not tie to any sewage line. The atrium drain is a storm water drain. It goes out on the street. Alfredo turned off the water and he then wrote up the estimate in his van. The price was very reasonable! Since the situation was directly related to my HOA, I kindly asked Bluefrog to send over a letter to my HOA explaining that the atrium drain was clogged up due to the root intrusion from the community shrubs! The letter was sent on the same day right after Alfredo left my home. I could tell that I was in great hands by working with Bluefrog Plumbing and Drain! Alfredo told me that Bluefrog is no bullsh$t! Currently I am waiting for my HOA to approve the job! Big shout out to Alfredo Jhonson for the big help! He helped me catch my previous scammer plumber in the lies! I now know that I can confidently count on Bluefrog Plumbing and Drain to help me in all my future plumbing/needs! I will refer them out to all my neighbors/family/friends! If you have any plumbing issues, please do not hesitate to give Bluefrog Plumbing a call! They will get you taken care of. Once again, thank you very much Bluefrog Plumbing for saving my butt! They worked with us with advice, then arrived very promptly when our toilets (which we ordered ourselves) arrived. There were a couple of small glitches, both of which were fixed with a smile within 24 hours. The plumber ("Brendan") was considerate and cleaned the site before he left. The prices are "retail," but the VALUE is in the job well done, by fully-certified plumbers rather.
