A lovely little place with great food and a nice cozy ambience. They have a conservatory section, a pool/billiards table downstairs, and a little enclosed smoking area in the back for those inclined, so it's a pretty good place when it's cold and windy outside too...
I haven't tried their a la carte menu, but their Tapas are really good and the "3 for £7.5 (ish)" deal is outstanding value. Their not bad at all either. I had the Chorizo, Calamari and something else I can't remember, but it was all pretty good.
I've been told it's a popular spot to watch football during the week as they play the Spanish matches which usually start around 8:30pm. Must get quite crowded on those days, but I guess I was lucky there wasn't a match when I went.
I recommend this place for a nice after work drink with friends, whether it's sitting on the sofas in the front, on the tables at the back (good if you want to nip out for a smoke), or downstairs if you're a larger group and want to play pool. read more
