The kitchen was swept and mopped, yet the floors were still grainy and not smooth to walk on. The inside of the cabinets looked like the grime had been pushed around, but ultimately not cleaned out. Some of the counter was wiped, but there were still sticky areas that were not tended to. The light switch was not wiped. the dishes were not cleaned or even dried. I know some services don't do dishes, which is fine, but this is something I specifically asked for, and something I paid an extra $50 for. The bathroom floor around the base of the toilet was not cleaned, swept, or mopped. Faucets were not cleaned. The toilet was cleaned. The tub was definitely wiped and rinsed, not washed and cleaned. The mirror was still spotty and there were clearly areas of the mirror that were not touched. Counter was cleaned. Overall, It was a waste of money. There also seems to be no professionalism to speak of, because when I voiced these concerns to them, I was ignored. In my mind, best case scenario, they could have come back to address the issues I disclosed and cleaned to satisfactory standards. Minimally, I would like to have been acknowledged or told that they will keep my concerns in mind in the future, that they will work on criticism provided, that they're sorry to lose my business or anything else. I was trying to get clarification on the policy when the Aroma-Chic representative began cutting me off mid sentence and getting very hostile with each request I made. I understand that a fee was necessary but the customer service was horrible! This representative was rude and continually showed aggression with her tone. The lady who answered was surprised they hadn't shown up, called them, called me back and let me know they'd been in a car accident with one of the cleaners actually going to the emergency room. I naturally expressed concern, told her that we'd just reschedule later but she insisted and so we rescheduled. Saturday morning a cleaner from AC shows up. She's super friendly, we chat, I leave and leave money for tip and "pet fee." When I come back 2 hours later she's gone and my house feels cleaner but isn't clean. I keep noticing odd things. Like she left cups on my counter, my toilet seat wasn't clean, my bathtub seemed wiped down but not actually scrubbed and anything that was on the floor hadn't been moved or cleaned around. There was no straightening as far as I can tell, the space behind my tiny entertainment center is full of cobwebs still and though she took the time to vacuum inside my closet, all my shoes were just pushed to the back. Basically the cleaning that occurred here would have taken ME two hours. What's odd is that in talking to the AC cleaner, I learned that those other cleaners hadn't actually been in a car wreck. They'd just quit. Man, I dont like lying about serious stuff like car wrecks. Call me superstitious but I dont put that stuff out into the universe. It left me with a weird feeling to know that the lady on the phone lied for no reason. When I hire a service, it's because they're the professionals. They know how to get stuff cleaner than I can. They came and did a deep clean that included a special, 10% off and a free fridge clean (inside). Two cleaners came and when we returned home two hours later the place was impeccable! Shining bright, extremely clean, and smelling fantastic!!!! They were even able to get the shower grout back to looking new. I think the pricing is extremely reasonable (even the rate before the special) because two women came in here and busted a## to make our apartment sparkle.
