I've had this place on my radar for quite some time and finally had the opportunity to try it. We sat upstairs on the roof top patio which is perfect this time of year. We started with the deviled eggs which have a (mild) pickled okra on top. While good, I'm not sure they're worth the price tag. However, the basket of biscuits definitely is worth it and I loved the pepper jelly jam that came on the side. I ordered the wedge that comes with fruit on it and it was excellent with balsamic, plenty of toppings.

We came in after a visit to the botanical garden nearby for a birthday brunch. We did have to wait to be seated, but on a Sunday that is expected. We waited about 20 minutes and was then seated. This is a very lively place, with lots of interesting decor, a large painting of the owners grandmother, Nellie Jonas. Yes, that Jonas family, and music memorabilia and photos of the Jonas brothers. I loved the ambience here. We looked at the menu for the usual southern staples, and they delivered. We tried the fried chicken, 4 cheese Mac side, Nashville hot chicken, shrimp and grits (my fav), and chicken & Waffles. Only one of us got something to drink, iced tea. Everything was delicious and fairly large portions. Our server, Anton, liked to come to the table to tell us some history about Nellie, and to tell a joke or joke around with us. It was fun, and made for a fun birthday for me. So, it's brunch time, and the prices are a little higher in my opinion. With tax and tip, our bill was $115, 4 people. I wasn't expecting cheap, so assuming the history, celebrity, and recipes are pretty authentic, expect good food but just at a little higher price for small town Belmont. Be sure to visit the restrooms to see all of the music memorabilia on the walls. My daughter loved it. When we are in Belmont next time, we will definitely visit again.

If you love good Southern food or the Jonas Brothers, you absolutely need to check this place out. I know that sentence is a little confusing. Hear me out. Nellie's is a slightly upscale, Southern comfort food place. It gives you that home-y feel in terms of the staff's friendliness, the warm atmosphere, and the great food, while also feeling like a a bit of a treat yourself kind of place. I got the chicken and dumplings and Mac and cheese, both of which were delicious. Now for the JoBros part. It's owned by the family of the Jonas Brothers, and inspired by their great-grandmother. But if you're not a fan of theirs, don't worry. The restaurant isn't Jonas Brothers themed. You wouldn't even know until you get into the hallway leading to the bathroom, which is covered in really cool Jonas Brothers pictures and memorabilia. As a fan, I really loved it. I had no idea of the connection when I got to the restaurant, and it was such a fun surprise to an already awesome dinner!

Party of 5 was immediately greeted and seated. The ambiance was very modern and appealing. Everything was clean fresh and the decor was that of an upscale establishment. The service was amazing and the manager was super attentive and friendly. The food was brought out fresh and everything was to everyone's liking from the appetizers to the main entrees of burgers and fried catfish. I will definitely return if in the area to try different dishes.

Service was great, attentive and hospitable. Food was great, the fried chicken is great, no wonder why they are known nationwide for it. Collards were amazing, macaroni was good. This restaurant is owned by the father of the Jonas Brothers, really a gem.

Heard a lot of things abt this place mainly due to the Jonas Brothers owning it, so definitely peaked my interest to check out. Had a 2:30 lunch reservation on a Saturday for 3, we arrived a bit earlier and the young ladies at the hostess stand told us we needed to wait closer to our reservation time even though there were plenty of empty seats. So we sat down to the side waiting for them to let us know they were ready for us. We ordered the fried green tomatoes which were delish. Then for entrees I ordered the fried chicken, one friend ordered the burger and the other ordered shrimp and grits. We got and two bites in when the manager on duty quietly came over and told us to remain calm and gather our belongings and evacuate the building to the exit in the back due to some sort of emergency. The few bites I did have, I can say I enjoyed the chicken, greens and cornbread but the mac left a lot to be desired. It was sort of dry and didn't have much flavor to me. We never got to go back inside due to the emergency but the manager came outside and took everyone's personal contact info to invite us back for a free meal. I look forward to receiving that communication from them so I can come back and fully enjoy my meal uninterrupted.

We had a pre-holiday weeknight dinner at Nellie's before heading to see the lights in McAdenville. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Loved the custom cotton light fixture at the bar. The food was incredible!! We started with some biscuits and they were so flaky and delicious. The cinnamon butter that came with them was just so good. Yum!! We opted for fried chicken (dark meat) and different sides of macaroni and cheese, collards, and fries. I've been to a lot of Southern restaurants and this fried chicken is in my top 5 for sure. So nice and light not over breaded. The chicken was moist and tender and cooked perfectly. The sides were so good too!! We wanted to try dessert but we were too full to even attempt. Service was great. Very attentive but not pushy. We never had to wait for drink refills or anything else. Our server was friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend a visit if you are in town.

Chad, one of the managers was overly accommodating with our party of 30!!!! With very short notice him & his team made the impossible, possible!! It was my daughter's 16 birthday & after lil bumps the night was perfect! I was clearly overwhelmed & my server was AMAZING! She kept me calm & her positivity was contagious!!!! They didn't have to take our party especially the size & such short notice but he chose too & I'm forever grateful!!!! My daughter had an amazing time. I love the restaurant, the look, the food, it was a perfect fit for this celebration in more ways than 1!!!!!

Obviously if you are a Jonas brothers fan you should visit and check out the hallway with all the neat memorabilia. The food was delicious. The chicken and French toast was crispy and had good flavor. Prices are higher, but it's also an experience. The service was quick and friendly as well

My fingertips tell the story of how JUICY the chicken was. Crunchy skin on the outside, moist on the inside.

It's not a terrible drive from Fort Mill, SC, about 45 minute on a Sunday afternoon. I was able to park right in front of the Venue and my ticket was waiting at will call. A smooth and easy check-in and I was able to talk to Todd before the show. I've seen him several times when he collaborates with other musicians but this was the first time solo. He played a mix of originals and covers. After several songs others joined him for several songs. They were all great on a Dave Mason original, Feelin Alright. Many know the song from the Joe Cocker cover. The band was great, Todd with some great guitar licks and a lead riff, the bass player was laying the line, the drummer on time and the keyboard player, Bazz The GranDude, with a nice mini-solo. Very impressed with the lady on the mixing board. She was out front on her iPad and got the vocal & instrument mix solid. It was a fun time and I hope to return before the summers done.

The ambiance early in the evening is relaxed outdoor seating needs to update the benches they're not comfortable and the woods starting to warp but, decent music, and a solid cocktail menu. It's the kind of place where you can actually hear your conversation and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. However, as the night progresses and the vibe shifts into more of a "clubby" scene which ended up being a perfect combo but let's talk charges.. feels steep for what's essentially a modest venue without standout features. Drink prices were high like the cover but not in a way that reflects upgraded quality or service. For the area, there are other spots offering more for the same price or even less but with cozy comforts and inside seating, nicer facilities so it's easy to find things not to love if you come here to support a DJ friend like I did than pay the cover and mingle. It's not a bad place by any means, and the early lounge experience is definitely a highlight followed up with the banging DJ club scene after...it's just the paying premium rates for a relatively average experience for me.

The guy even explained that he wanted to meet the band after and have them sign his poster. Too bad. They sent various other people back to their cars for other minor things too. It did not make sense or make us feel any safer. It just made going to a show feel like a chore. Once we were inside we all wanted to grab a beer. This is definitely not the place to do that! They had about 5 beers to choose from all of which I would never ever drink nor would anyone else in our group which is saying a lot because we all have pretty diverse tastes. All of the beers were like $18, even the garbage beers. I expect that price as we pay $19/beer at the hockey games but the arena offers a great selection. I'll pay $19 for a good beer. I saved lots of money at The Underground since they don't have any beer worth drinking. The bartenders at the bar on the left were not friendly and not interested in answering any questions. We ventured to the bar on the right and a few of us ordered mixed drinks.

I didn't even see a handicapped seating area. Lighting is decent and one major positive was they had the a.c. cranked up high on the July evening we were there, when it was like 95 degrees outside. 2 major drawbacks...1. There's literally NOWHERE to park in the area for free. Th cheapest lot we found was around the corner and at the end of the street in a gravel lot and it was 12 bucks. Parking right at the venue is 40 bucks. 2. Drink and beer prices inside are way high. A shaker cup cocktail is 20 bucks and it's ALL ice. Refills are 17 bucks!!!! Another thjng I didn't like is that the box office is not attached to the venue and is up the street and they didn't take cash for tickets there. They also don't give you a paper ticket...they digitally text you a receipt and your tix too. Security has a walk through metal detector and they wand folks as well.
