I ordered the Banana Nut French Toast. It comes with whipped cream, caramel sauce, fresh bananas and pecans. I asked for the caramel sauce on the side since I wasn't sure how much they would put over the toast. They ended up drizzling over the toast anyway, and giving me some in a bowl. It was delicious, and I ended up pouring all of it over the toast! For this large a crowd on a Saturday, the service did not take long. The servers were attentive, taking care of our coffee and checking on us. I've never had a bad meal here - breakfast or lunch - and would definitely recommend.

I am hesitant to ever give a bad review because every business has a bad day... in this case I…read morefeel I should be blatantly honest. 1st the "funnel cake " is not infact a funnel cake. Funnel cakes are made with a funnel. What you have is fried toast. 2nd my breakfast came cold, Not even the butter on the top of the potatoes would melt. I sent it back. Instead of preparing an entirely new plate as should have happened it was microwaved and returned to me. So my over medium eggs became hard eggs. The sausage was not freshly prepared but have been sitting on the grill, kept slightly warm and dried out , in other words it had been precooked and it was awful.. It was clear that I was very displeased. Consequently,, the restaurant comped my bill without my asking. Not sure what I would recommend except that the basics of the food hot and not cold making sure that it is perfect - over medium means over medium, not hard. Advertise something as a funnel cake then Google how to make funnel cakes otherwise advertise it as fried bread. Morr and more restaurants are going to having the bacon and the sausage sitting on the side of the grill and that is just gross. Certainly staff were very nice and prompt for the exception of letting my meal get cold before they gave it to me. And I fell that they were trying hard. Would I recommend them to someone else? No. Would I return? No

If you are looking for a locally owned restaurant in Evansville for breakfast or lunch, look no…read morefurther than Libby and Mom's Cafe. I was in Evansville recently en route to Nashville and was looking for a local spot to get a bite to eat. As I love the smaller, family-owned places that are off the main roads, this place sounded very inviting. Well it was indeed off the beaten path. A couple blocks from one of the main streets in town and next to what looks like a city park, this was the kind of place I was looking for. I walked in and the seating area is not that big in the front (they have another section with more tables) and was greeted by a friendly waitress who told me I could sit where I wanted. I got the menu, and after finding out they were short-handed with a limited menu, I opted for a simple bacon, eggs, and french toast breakfast (with the waitress suggesting the cinnamon butter for the french toast). That was a perfect meal as it was the right amount. The cinnamon butter was a very nice touch and made the french toast that much more tasty. The coffee was also good and hot (and bottomless cup). I can tell this was a great place as there were a lot of locals dining. When I saw something on the TV that mentioned near where I live, I made a comment and the waitress quipped that I was not from a local and one of the others said they could tell by my "Chicago" accent. All in good fun of course.
