I'm so lucky to have this place right down the street from my office. It's the perfect on the go breakfast in the mornings, and usually isn't super crowded whenever I've gone. You can order online ahead of time for quicker service, but the service has always been pretty quick for me when I've ordered in person. The açaí bowls here are delicious, but in the mornings I tend to opt for one of their protein shakes. My favorite is their Health Nut smoothie. They recently changed the recipe I believe - there used to be cacao nibs in it which was delicious, but last time I went I just asked for them to add them in and it wasn't a big deal! The regular was super filling - this smoothie has protein powder and it kept me full until lunch! The last time I went they added a little games area for kiddos which I thought was cute! I was craving a smoothie and I have passed Nekter a few times. It seemed like the perfect place to check out! Well, I have been on a kick lately where I am trying to find some good deals around town so I was happy when I found out that you can get a free smoothie if you download the app! I downloaded the app and was checking out my smoothie options. Honestly, quite a few of the smoothies looked absolutely scrumptious but at the end of the day, I am pretty committed to strawberry banana smoothies so that is what I decided on. I debated on getting the protein in there but I decided to stick with it and got the Vanilla Whey added. Surprisingly, the vanilla whey added tremendous flavor to it and I was glad I got it. The flavors all went together very nicely. One disadvantage to going here is the parking lot. It is horrendous. There is too many popular businesses and not a big enough parking lot, especially during rush hour. There is a very small parking lot that they expect patrons from nearly 10 businesses to be able to park in. The advantage to that is driving a Jeep that you can pop into 4Low and park in the field but I don't know what I would've done otherwise...there was literally NO parking and then it just turns into a cluster of cars circling the parking lot trying to find a spot. I loved my smoothie but unfortunately they have gotten rid of it and they weren't willing to make it, even though they had all the ingredients. None of the other smoothies really catch my eye and I just LOVED this particular one. It was confusing that I couldn't do a "create your own" or something but the cashier insisted that "They don't make that smoothie anymore". My husband and I went out on a date and we were looking for a healthier option. We found Nekter juice bar and we were excited to try it. The menu was easy to read and I like that it included the calories on everything except for their new PB& J options. It's a little expensive but you get a good amount of smoothie bowl. We had to wait a good while for our food so it was a good thing we were not in a hurry. The smoothie bowls were really pretty. My favorite one was the one I ordered, the immunity smoothie bowl that is made with pitaya/dragon fruit. Overall, it was really tasty but I wish that the smoothie part was a little bit thicker and it really makes it taste better when they drizzle a lot of honey over the granola and they did not do that. They did have agave over the fruit which was good. When I was finished I used the restroom and the first one I went to use had no toilet paper so I went and used the other one. We were in the mood for something refreshing after running errands today. Nékter for sure fit the bill! I ordered the Pink Flamingo (a smoothie with pitaya, strawberry, pineapple, agave syrup and coconut water). The boys got the Orange Crush (another smoothie with orange juice, strawberry and agave nectar). Ghetto Pro Tip: Order a 16 oz and ask for an extra scoop of ice blended into it and have them split it into two cups. It doesn't change the flavor, and you end up with enough for two people. Make sure you're standing there while they pour, though- to make sure they give you all of it and not just enough to fill two 8 oz cups. We did that with both flavors and it was plenty for the four of us. Everyone on shift was super nice and very accommodating! The smoothies were well blended and just the perfect level of sweetness. The prices are comparable to Jamba Juice. They've got Buddha bowls, juice shots, protein cookies and vegan ice cream. They weren't very well stocked, though. Every option of vegan ice cream was sold out and the cooler was lookin' really sparse. Additionally, they were out of orange juice but didn't realize it until they had made the first half of my order and they had to reassemble the machine to make more. We weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a big deal. (Bonus: it's actual fresh squeezed orange juice!) The little shop was clean with lots of natural light, and not too loud, as some juice bars are! The bathrooms, on the other hand, looked neglected. I know people can't be in there checking them after every visitor, but some of the stuff on that toilet had definitely been there for a while and the floor needed some serious attention. It was a bit surprising when compared to the overall look and feel of the place. That being said, you get rewards points for ordering ahead on their app and just picking it up to-go. So, you never have to see the bathrooms if you don't want to! I was also surprised to find that they don't recycle any of their plastic cups and bowls. I feel like that's a little off-brand. Wanted to mix up and try a different smoothie place today. My son loves to get smoothies. He had the pink flamingo and loved it. Great flavor combinations with the dragon fruit and strawberries. I had the power protein bowl, $10.50. Overall the base was really good. The toppings were nice and fresh bananas and strawberries. The crunch of the chia seeds and hemp were good and smooth creamy peanut butter. Little pricy for how much was in the actual bowl. Staff was nice and quick with the order. Great smoothie. Tweak or modify any juice or create your own. I love the alternative sweeteners they offer. Agave and coconut are options. I love that they make their cashew milk in house. It's way better than Jamba juice. That said, it's still the McDonald's of green smoothies. It falls short on the little thoughtful nuances that Mom and Pop healthy smoothie places have, like filtered water. I have been on quite the smoothie kick lately (you can tell by my most recent reviews...), and I've been on the search for the healthiest best smoothie - particularly with açaí berry. This was my first Nekter experience. I noticed right off that they menu items were more pure and raw. Many options included homemade cashew juice, so that caught my eye. I decided on a small Popeye Açaí smoothie that included açaí juice, half a frozen banana, blueberries, spinach, homemade cashew juice, and agave. I was curious, yet nervous, that it wouldn't be sweet enough, nevertheless, I was extremely pleased with the outcome. I. Loved. It. And what made it even more pleasurable was that I knew I was putting good into my body, and it felt so good! I hesitated to come here before, but I will for sure drop in again. The serving sizes are large for the bowls, if you're not too hungry you could split this easily They were able to split a smoothie for my little ones without any problems. Lots of options for toppings and the acai was very good. Plenty of parking, we went around 9 am and the lot was mostly empty. Clean and a nice atmosphere. The Meh. I had the Acai Mango Bowl and the mango is lost in here. it was good but you couldn't really taste the mango flavor. They only have 2 tables that seat more than 2. The Bad The price point is the big thing that I have an issue with. If they made a smaller bowl and priced it at 4-5 dollars. Super cute juice bar! Love the branding and interior design. I tried a make your own combo juice with carrot, beet, orange and pineapple with some ice and it was delicious! Got the 24 oz but they put it in a larger cup because of the ice. This was nice because some places would just put it in the regular cup still and you would lose out on product. Seems like a win-win to avoid waste and make an extra happy customer. I checked in on yelp and got a free ginger shot. The gal at the register didn't know what was going on with it. She ended up taking it when I showed her it was through The store and not just an offer through Yelp, but only after I showed her. Nektar is not bad by any means, they have decent smoothies and juices, but a very narrow selection and slightly higher prices than I'd like to see for the quality of product they put out. I was torn between a 3 and 4 but their lack of variety made me put a 3. Juice bars that I am accustomed to have a much wider selection of juices and pressed veggies and fruit. Nektar seemed to use the same 4 or 5 ingredients in some variation in every item. Which is fine, but everything tastes the same. Nothing was original, just all very basic blends that anyone can do at home. They didnt taste bad, but they lacked the flare and originality that make other juice bars I've been to fun to try out. Kale, bananas, pineapple and spinach are great, but gimme something else to experiment with. I wish nektar would think outside the box a little. Overall quality of the smoothies was okay, not bad but I've had alot better, in my opinion. Juices were okay too but they lacked variety and purpose. I didn't feel the heart that a juice bar should have. It was very automatic feeling. Cheaply made. Maybe im wrong but the whole experience from walking in the door to walking out felt mass produced. And for minimum $8 for a 16oz drink, it just isnt a place I will go anymore. However, it isnt bad at all, I just have had better experiences elsewhere that I will choose to go to instead. The lack of variety, creativity and the sheer absence of love for juicing made tuned me off. Great service though:) read more

I got the dragon fruit bowl and it said it came with pineapple but they must have been out because they didn't put it on, instead they put coconut shavings. The dragon fruit base tasted generic nothing unique. When I asked for pb to be put on, they put a little scoop on the side! I expected it to be drizzled all over but it wasn't. Paying extra for a little scoop is not worth it! Won't be going back for their açaí bowls, there's nothing special about them and not worth the price. read more

I love juice and smoothie bars and was generally impressed with Nektar. I have tried them in California before but this was my first trip to a Utah location. I got one of their green juices...very good but I ordered a small and the size was huge and over $7....not a fan of that at all. I much would have preferred a 6 oz or so size around $4. Not sure if they made a mistake but I think they did. Service was good though. But the closed on Sunday policy is absolutely ridiculous. read more

We have been coming here for awhile and doing mobile orders and they are always ready and good to go. Today they didn't have a way to print the tickets so a mobile order was useless and she asked to look at my phone while making my order. I get it, things happen so no big deal. She made one bowl and gave it to me then proceeded to wipe her hands all over her sweatshirt before making the next customers (different girl was making my second bowl). The sweatshirt wasn't even a Nekter uniform just her plain old Nike sweatshirt that was covered in marks from wiping her hands on it all day-that's so gross. And she didn't even wash her hands after handling my phone before making the next customer's bowl-again gross. I had to toss my bowl out once I got home because as I drove I couldn't stop thinking of her nasty sweatshirt bc that and handling of the phone without washing is not sanitary. If she is wiping her hands on her sweatshirt all day does she even wash them ever?!!! read more
