Stopped by for a juice while walking my dogs and we sure appreciated the shade and AC! The staff gave my dogs a water bowl and we were able to cool off in the calming environment before getting on with our day. I got The Buzz: carrot, green apple, orange, lemon, ginger 140 | 200 | 280 | 380 cal, and the 24oz came out to a little under $13 with a small tip. I will forever miss their BEET juice options. We walked in and no one was there at counter. Noticed someone sitting in back. My wife coughed and that got her attention. She slowly came up. No greeting. Seemed like we were bothering her. Their smoothies are great, but every time I come to the Nékter in Claremont, it takes 30 minutes to get my order. It's ridiculous. There's always just one employee behind the counter doing everything from taking the orders to making the orders. This is a popular location so I'm surprised they don't have more employees. You see people walking out because the wait is too long. I've also done this before. This is what happens when the owner doesn't want to hire more employees. read more

I have come here before and had good service and good food. This time, I ordered an acai superfood bowl and ended up with a lot of liquid and a lot of frozen strawberries. I just do not know where else to go for a smoothie or bowl. Nobody was in there, a sign that the lackluster blending abilities of the staff are leading to nobody ordering the overpriced blended fruits. I guess I will just drive somewhere else. Without anyone in there, and with chairs on top of tables at 3:30 PM, the ambiance is terrible. May you have better luck w a smoothie or bowl if you go here. I suspect it is hit or miss. read more

I think I was the first customer of the day so the place was clean, but a little cold. I placed my order on the Nekter app so I could customize my Toxin Flush and check the ingredients in the Pumpkin Spice Cashew Chia Parfait. The employee made both quickly and perfectly. I enjoyed both inside the shop and was able to read a book since it was pretty tranquil. read more

I was strolling through the Claremont Packing House. Towards the end of my stroll, I saw this Nektar Juice Bar. I had already had a hot tea drink earlier. Why not have something cold to balance out the energy LOL so here I am... They looked like they were closing for the day because all the chairs were up, but they weren't closing. I think they were cleaning their floors. Anyway, they weren't too busy at the time. I got my usual acai smoothie. Funny, I just realized the name Popeye Acai has Popeye in it and now it all makes sense why my acai drink tasted different than my other acai drinks from other juice bars. Because it has the famous veggie in it... the spinach LOL! Wow, I still get healthy when I don't pay attention... only in my case, huh? LOL I liked the acai drink and I love the spinach idea, but I prefer it to be a little bit sweeter. I want to taste more fruit than veggie. =) Staff was okay. Service was okay. There was only one other customer in front of me, but I felt like I waited longer than I should have, but then again maybe they were working on online orders... who knows. There were only 2 of them behind the counter. I would come back should I need a fruitty picker upper when I'm in the Claremont downtown area. read more

Rude rude rude! is all I can say about the Asian girl with the tacky leg tattoos from dirty looks to no greeting. She asked me if I wanted agave on my bowls and I said no . She then informed me that all the bowls come with agave and I told her that it didn't say that on the menu she then said it again that all bowls come with agave even though I had already stated that I didn't want agave on either bowl. read more

The Asian girl with the messed up lineup and long eyelashes with the janked tattoos is so unbelievable rude. It felt like I was entitled to be in her presence like I owe her for taking my order. So many different times when I get to this location and they close 30 minutes before closing October 9 girl & guy who works worst attitude can't even come to door I drive thinking your open for no reason wasting my time & gas really ain't cool if you don't want to work go get another job and if you want to go home early maybe get to work early or work an early shift for you don't have to close thanks. read more

Customer service could improve. Walked in one worker making the drinks the other just standing there not even greeting or taking orders. Had 3 drinks and all have been good. Mango, Popeye, and Pink Flamingo. Mango not too different from juice it up. The others have a cool unique taste. Definitely will get them again but there's a couple more good options to try out. read more

Came here with a friend and saw at least 6 people waiting for orders with 4 people still in line and just ONE employee! We thought maybe someone was on a break. Waited a long time to place our orders. I asked the employee if someone called off sick, she said no that she was the ONLY one scheduled to work . The employee was very sweet and we felt terrible for her! I don't blame the employee- that is undue stress and SYDNEY needs to do better for employees and customers. We waited almost 20 minutes to get our order which was fast considering there was only one person working but that is not ok. read more

I have been coming here for many times with friends after workout, my favorite drink is health nut with blueberries and strawberries. Today I walked in and ordered my usual smoothie for lunch, the new guy tried to charge $3 for adding blueberries and strawberries (it will be Erewhon smoothie price). Really disappointing, I come in about 2-3 times a week when I am in town and the servings have been getting a lot smaller as of late. I don't mind that, but today the lady made both bowls wrong when I ordered them off the menu just by name she put none of the toppings of the fruits on it, just the açaí and Grenola but I couldn't see no fruit since grenola goes on top. Got home realized it was all wrong went back and she not only said she couldn't remake the 2 bowls but I had to pay 4 dollars now to get the fruit because I didn't specific ask for them on the açaí banana berry bowl.... The whole bowl is the fruit. Very disappointing and was then rude after and couldn't even say sorry just how it was. read more

I've been here twice, tried their Pink Flamingo, Mango Delight smoothies, and also the Banana Berry Acai Bowl. Bit let down by the Mango Delight smoothie because it wasn't very sweet at all - tasted like mango that hadn't ripened, and I wasn't a fan of how overwhelmingly coconut-y the Pink Flamingo tasted to me. The flavor I chose was "Big Stick," which is cherry and pineapple. It was fantastic! For 95 cents more you can add a topping (sprinkles, condensed milk, Oreo cookie crumbs, etc.). There isn't any seating inside, although there is room at the right of the entrance for a table or countertop with barstools. That said, once I took a bite, I was genuinely impressed. The cookie was gooey, rich, and packed with great chocolate flavor. It definitely tasted much better than it looked. One thing that was frustrating was the promotion they were advertising. There was a huge flashing sign saying you could get a free cookie if you joined the membership club, but the QR code was so tiny that my phone couldn't scan it. The code only flashed on the screen for a couple of seconds every several minutes, and it honestly didn't seem to work very well. In the end, I paid the $3.95 for my cookie and went on my way. While the presentation and promotion were disappointing, I do have to admit -- the cookie itself tasted really good. Sir was really cute. It was very small in the plaza in Claremont.
