Some people got codes to the door so they could enter for their classes, but I didn't get that luxury. The pricing for membership is decent (might be steep for others depending on your budget), but I wish they offered more medium/low income friendly options. Or at least extended the amount of classes you get access to. The scheduling is online which is great, but the availability was scarce for what I wanted to try. I'm recovering from an injury so the instructors were mindful and offered variations I could try instead that would've cause me pain. Still, I think gentle Pilates Reformer would've worked better for me and I didn't get to try that because it was only offered during the day and never after 5pm.

This year, Jess opened her flagship studio in Madisonville, and it is just incredible. You are greeted upon entering by a huge disco ball and the wonderful front desk staff. Then there are 2 studios, the Mainstage, where all the dance cardio and other cardio classes are, and the Backstage, where yoga and barre usually are. There's also a playroom, and child care is offered most mornings. All the instructors are amazing, you can't go wrong with anyone. If you need a place for your kid's birthday party or if you need an event space, they often are renting it out for that as well. I cannot recommend Dance Factory Fitness enough!

I'd heard that your first class was free, so I tried to register online because I knew that sometimes their classes filled up quickly. I created an account, but I was unable to sign up for a class without putting in payment information. I sent an email asking about the class, and they responded quickly confirming that I was signed up and good to go. They even sent me a reminder text the day of the class. The studio was bright and cheery, and it smelled amazing. The ladies at the front desk got me signed in quickly and gave me a quick tutorial on how the class would go. The music was upbeat and Jessica was a fantastic instructor who took the time to walk around the class and adjust people as needed to make sure they were doing the movements correctly. I have done a variety of workout classes at different gyms and studios, but this was by far one of the best experiences I've ever had. They even sent me a handwritten postcard thanking me for visiting their class. Totally recommend them!

Update after going there for a few months. First review was after just a couple classes. Then the…read moretruth came out. They are definitely committing fraud with the No Show fees. They tried to charge me once for a class I was present for and I threw a fit and they refunded me. They subsequently tried it again another time, but I had started checking on the app after every class that they had checked me in, and I went to the desk and asked them to check me in as they hadn't after class. The lady looked at me as I told her my name, she pretended to check me in on the computer and I refreshed my app to make sure she did and she had not. I told her for the third time to check me in and she finally did. That is not a mistake. If I hadn't paid attention, they would have stolen a lot of money from me. After my experience, I informed my friends to make sure they check their accounts and between 3 other people that I went with, they charged 11 no show fees that they refused to refund when the girls were present for every class. That's $165 stolen just from people I know. I can only imagine how much they are making stealing from everyone who doesn't regularly check their accounts. If you don't check your bank account, they WILL (probably already have) steal from you. I have reported them to the FTC for the fraud. They are not certified to train anyone. Their certification consists of 7 hours. I am a certified yoga instructor and I spent 6 months of being in class for 24 hours every other weekend. I also have ti be CPR certified, which their staff is definitely not. My friend had a heat stroke there which landed her in the hospital and the staff did absolutely nothing to help her when she was passed out in the lobby. A fellow, good samaritan CLIENT took it upon herself to run and get her cold towels and offer to call 911 while the staff stood by and watched from afar and ignored the situation. Ultimately the kind woman called my friend's husband to get her and take her to the ER. My friends and I immediately cancelled our memberships. My $400 sunglasses were stolen from there. But other than that, it's great! I can't imagine this outfit lasts too long with their shady business model and incompetent "teachers."

One evening I was the last client to leave and totally panicked because I could not open the door to get out. A mirror panel has been broken for 4+ months with painters tape as what appears to be their long term solution. The studio has added a tacky lights strip put up rather than prioritizing the safety of instructors and clients by replacing the mirror and door properly.
