So after hours of waiting the driver showed up. Very nice and guy and he felt so bad. He was great. He was nice and felt so bad for us. I tipped him and thanked him. He explained that he would discuss the issue with his boss and try and make sure this didn't happen to someone else. Broke down in Parker with a boat hooked to the truck. Truck got stuck in four Lo.. called AAA and…read morethey dispatched a tow truck. At first they told me it would be the following day before they could get a driver to me , I had to get a little gruff with the dispatcher and requested they either reject the call so I could be re dispatched to another company or find a driver. They found a driver. I only had to wait about 2 hours and they sent a kid named Shane out... I being a former repair shop owner and tow truck owner myself, (retired). I was fully aware of the process and procedures related with this tow. Shane was cleancut, polite and professional. He informed me he was reasonably new to the trade and 3-4 years or so.. He was aware of my background and said he was nervous being critiqued by a veteran driver. i replied to him no need, you're doing just fine. all in all he was prompt, efficient, professional, and extremely accommodating to us. Thumbs up all the way around on this tow.

Update. After 3am came and passed, I called AAA and together we called dispatch. The woman on the…read morephone was very snippy and said she never gave us a time or ETA and they will get to us when they get to us and hung up. AAA mentioned they recorded all calls and was indeed told of an ETA time. Tow truck finally came around 9:00am the next morning. 11 hours after being contacted. An AAA manager called me to get my information for a complaint. Apparently this company caused an AAA member who was also waiting for a tow to have a serious medical emergency requiring EMT intervention because of the lying about ETA times. Our case wasn't as dire but it did result in being stuck on the side of the road for 12+ hours. Thankfully the tow truck got to them before it got hot and reached the 112 degree temps that are common in this area in summer. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They deserve that much.

They gave me a arrv time of 2:33pm which meant a 1 1/2 hour wait. Active Towing arrived a half hour early and went right to work. Phil filled out the paperwork while Norm worked very quickly. They were done in less than 1/2 hour. No wasted motion! The spare was wedged onto the bolt holding it. It took some creative thinking and a big hammer to finally free the spare. Norm checked the air pressure and filled the tire appropriately. Very professional and fast!
