I contacted William, the owner, sent him pictures of my kitchen and he was very prompt in sending me a quote. This was especially important as we were in the middle of COVID-19. William informed me of the timeline for the job as well as the arrival and departure times each day. Once he got started, he arrived on time and departed on time each day. I covered all of my furniture expecting a lot of dust from sanding, but was amazed that he handled it in a way that there was no excessive dust and he left my house clean every day. The job was completed on time and the results were magnificent. In order to further update the cabinets, I asked him to replace the old hinges with soft-closed hinges and now the cabinets are like new. They perfectly matched the existing paint to minimize the number of walls and ceilings needed. They were very fast and responsive and reasonably priced. I made a mistake and forgot to specify that a door frame should match the adjacent trim and didn't notice until after I'd paid and the work was done. Jeff came back the next morning, matched the color and by the afternoon the work was done. They didn't leave a mess and moved the necessary furniture and remounted the closet shelves. They even repaired the molding broken by the plumbers who cut open the walls.

The main project was to replace more than two dozen rotting boards and the steps on our 20-year-old deck, ensure the structural integrity of the deck, and jack up a corner of the deck that had sunk a couple of inches. He also power-washed the deck and the siding of the house that faced the deck. We also needed work done indoors. He repaired a door frame to a bedroom, fixed a broken storm door, replaced marble tile in our foyer, installed a missing sliding closet door, and procured and installed beautiful luxury plank vinyl flooring for a bedroom. He communicated clearly with us throughout every project, made suggestions when he saw something that needed improvement, and always checked with us when a decision needed to be made. In every situation, he did high-quality work in a very timely fashion. I needed my gutters cleaned and to power wash my townhouse and paint some stairs. Tom's price was definitely much higher than the other companies I received estimates from but he seemed professional and kept going on about how he was one of the only ones that was licensed and bonded. Even though he said it would be 7 weeks before he had availability to come out and get to my house I still hired him. He said once I give him the check for the down payment that he would give me a date that would lock me in. My date was July 15th and that date came and went and the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st all came and went. I finally called him on the 22nd and he called me back and apologized and told me he would be there next Monday. On Monday he calls me and says he can't make it on account of all this rain we are getting but he would be there Wednesday. I have no idea what he was talking about because it never rained but I'm a very reasonable guy so I told him not to worry and Wednesday would be fine. He comes out Wednesday to power wash the house which only takes him about 90 minutes and says that the paint I selected for the outdoor deck stairs is not very good and that he has a "special sealant stain that he uses that would only be XX dollars and that I'm in luck because he has it in stock." The paint I selected is 10 year outdoor Behr paint that I have used several times before and works great. He comes back the following week to paint the stairs and is in such a rush that he misses several spots. When my wife and I point it out to him he says "it's the paints fault, it's total ****, this stuff is like water." It's not the paints fault that there are several spots of the stairs that never were touched by his paint brush. He took on too many jobs and spread himself so thin that he did a rush job. I would not hire Tom again, awful customer service with no pride in his work or attention to detail.

Our builder had left patches where drywall dust was painted over, paint drips, and unevenness in the walls. We also removed some molding that would not smooth out despite endless spackle and sanding. Fast forward four days and our house looks brand-new! They painted more than 1/2 of our townhouse including walls and ceilings. All of the imperfections and unevenness in our walls are totally gone! The annoying molding is gone and you can't even tell it was ever there. The team arrived every morning at 8am and worked non-stop all day. I'd absolutely recommend Matt's team and would use them in the future!
