The real reason that his team is beyond exceptional is because of their enthusiasm. These folks can all take incredible photos and videos. There is no doubt about it. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning and everyone we talked to was blown away by his work. However, we had so much fun working with the whole team. There was not one moment where he and his team were not excited. We loved how enthusiastic they were at all times. It honestly felt like we were being photographed by our friends. Having his team with us on our wedding day and wedding weekend made the event that much more special. They were constantly excited to take photos and never acted like there was a time limit or time restraint for their photography. They went above and beyond for us and did an amazing job of shooting our wedding weekend. Towards the end of the wedding weekend it felt as if they were part of our wedding party. At the end of the shoot I paid for the services and kindly asked that my photos not be used for promotional purposes or shared online. I am a very private person and was not ready to share my pregnancy with the world or better yet have my bare body online!!!! The photographer appeared to be upset and stated " the pictures belong to me. If you don't want them posted you have to pay for the copy rights" ($200 additional). This was the first time I experienced anything like this. Unfortunately I had to pay $200 for my photos not to be shared on social media. That is wrong. The ONLY reason I didn't get my attorney involved is because my photos would be shared hours and that did not give me enough time to have him served. I paid what you requested for a service. Then had to pay an additional $200 to NOT be exploited or used for promotional purposes. It's rude, disrespectful and distasteful. Do Not Use this photographer.

I wasn't sure which I was supposed to book first, the ceremony or the reception, how much time to leave in between, what photos were to be taken, the list goes on - I went in completely blind. What I DID know was the photographs for the big day were my top priority. When I selected my photographer, I did several phone, skype, and FaceTime interviews as I was an out-of-town bride, living in Chicago and getting married in my home state of NJ. Seperate from the obvious - Tav's photos being the most impressive and dynamic/captivating, he was also, far and away, the best communicator which I SO appreciated as a neurotic, detail-oriented person. He was clear and up-front about the time frame I should give myself before, during, and after both the ceremony and reception. He had several extremely reasonable packages to choose from, allowing me to subtract something due to my out-of-town circumstances. He e-mailed me far in advance to get the names/lists of the VIPs that would be photographed that day (outside of my groom and I of course). Both he and his second shooter (who took shots of my groom and his groomsmen beforehand) were on time, professional, and respectful to all members of the family and friend circle. And most importantly, my wedding photos are brilliant. My album and all of the digital copies I have of MY photos are irreplaceable. It seems that Sam's specialty is non-traditional weddings, and he did an awesome job! We met with him a couple of times before the wedding to go over ideas for poses and pictures and to finalize a timeline. He's professional and polite, but fun and friendly, too. By the end, we felt more like friends than his clients On the day of the wedding, he made sure to get all of the poses on the list and was flexible enough to go with the flow when things just didn't work out like we planned (and let's be honest, things rarely go according to plan). Many, many of our guests mentioned to us afterwards how impressed they were with Sam's work...and that was even before we saw the pictures. We got access to our online gallery about 3 weeks after the wedding, and the pictures are phenomenal, just drop dead gorgeous! He got all of the important shots, but even got close up pictures of all of the decorations, too. His attention to detail is really to be commended. Sam provided excellent customer service, with prompt communication via email. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, and guided us on how to pose. Initially, it felt awkward (mainly because I've never done this before!) but Sam clearly knew how to position us such that the photos looked good yet natural. All the photos that I felt I appeared awkward, actually turned out to be quite beautiful. Sam was always able to capture moments with his photography - this added to the "natural" non-rehearsed feel of the photos. He captured a lot of really fun moments - real emotion is conveyed through his photographs. The photos themselves are beautiful!! Sam really has an eye for color and lighting. We love the photos and browse through them almost daily. All of our wedding guests adore the photos. I have been asked on multiple occasions to refer them to Sam for their event! What I love the most about the photos is that he tells a story... the story of our love, our wedding ceremony, and then the absolute blast we had at our reception.
