We first met Nicole at Kunal's brother's wedding and decided to try them out for our winter pre-wedding shoot in New Hampshire about 10 months before our wedding. Since our wedding was to happen in India and we were getting recommendations from our wedding planner there, we didn't actually consider PTaufiq photography right off the bat for the wedding itself, but the moment we met Nicole, Pervez and their kids in NH for the shoot, we knew that nobody else can be as crazy and passionate both about their work and family as Pervez and Nicole! We reached NH late in the night with the idea that the photoshoot would happen the next morning, but they were ready to start shooting that very night and already had ideas for it (it was almost like they read our minds for the smoke bombs and had them ready even before we told them about it). Pervez literally almost got run over by a car on an isolated bridge at 3am taking an epic pic of us! Not only did they travel all the way to India to capture every event of ours, they had regular conversations with us in the months before to get to know us better as a couple, about our wedding theme, outfits etc and to understand our vision such that they could make it personal in every way possible. They were also extremely accommodating throughout, for instance they agreed for an impromptu photoshoot in India a few days before the wedding and fulfilled our crazy last minute request for a pre-wedding video to be played during our reception. We literally completed the shoot for that on our mehendi day and Pervez put together our pre-wedding video overnight. We also really liked their openness to our feedback during the editing process, such that we could combine their creativity with our personal touch. PTaufiq team has this unique sense of space, time, body language and emotions, which enables them to capture the best angles at the most opportune moments. Pervez would also never fail to make you laugh through the shooting process and Nicole with her grace, elegance and modeling background helped us a lot with couple portraits (which we never thought we could look good in, we both tend to usually only like the more candid photos). Nicole also gave me the best advice on the morning of our wedding, while I waited for the baraat to come; I could then completely calm down and spend the time reflecting on our love and life together without stressing about anything else. That truly made me deeply enjoy every moment. They also sneakily recorded us after the reception for an interview and the words that were spoken then became one of the most beautiful memories for us as part of our wedding trailer. We will forever cherish the teaser, trailer and films that the PTaufiq team made for us as it brought back memories from that day. We could not have asked for better finished products, such that its hard for us to resist watching it every day. Photography and videography is not just a job to them, they live and breathe it in every moment of their lives. They are these extremely creative souls, who can find unconventional ways to capture and freeze any moment. This is evident not just from their professional portfolio but also from their own family photos and videos, all of which exude love. In fact, they initially started shooting to capture their own family moments and then expanded it to make it their professional job. Anything that has its origin in family and love can only lead to multiplying more love and magic, which is exactly what they create wherever they go. You just cannot go wrong with them for your big day. We were so impressed by their work and enjoyed shooting with them so much, that we want to keep shooting with them. We are hoping to do a photoshoot with them again at our one year anniversary and cannot wait to be captured by them again. Pervez and his team were AWESOME. From the moment we met Pervez, my wife and I knew he was going to be our wedding photographer. In the months leading up to the wedding, we chatted quite a bit and he was very accommodating to our busy schedules. He was very honest with us and had great ideas for the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Pervez, Nicole, and the whole team were nothing short of AMAZING. Even though we were running behind on schedule, he helped keep us calm and collected. I may not have been the most accommodating when it came to time on the wedding day, but Pervez utilized whatever time he had to take some of the most gorgeous shots I've ever seen. His team was great to work with as well. They were helping everywhere from grabbing water for my wife and I, to helping other guests during cocktail hour, directing foot traffic, etc. His team went above and beyond to help us on our wedding day. Our bridal and groom's parties enjoyed working with Pervez and his team as well. Throughout the day, Nicole also helped Stephanie and I with our garments and poses. She was awesome to work with and had some pretty awesome poses for the different shots. Everyone from both sides of the family were in awe of the whole team. We ​came across ​P​Taufiq Photography​ on Thumbtack and met Pervez on a weekday night at 9 pm at a Dunkin' Donuts! And we were surprised to see how energetic he was!! He asked us about Our story and what our vision was for our wedding photos. It seemed as if we have known each other for a really long time. Pervez was very understanding of how special this event was for us. We decided to do a pre-wedding photoshoot in June. And even though it was 100 degrees that day, we couldn't believe how lovely the shots were that he took. Our wedding was in July and we made a schedule for each day for all the four days. Pervez & Nicole and their teams were always on time and never frowned on staying a little later than the hours we decided on. They covered events on both side of the families. The best part was that both of them understood the traditions and the emotions that come along. And they communicated with our families very well. This review is simply not enough to express the tremendous job Pervez and his team did capturing my wedding as well as the events leading up to it. Pervez took the time to find out what my husband and I wanted, the style, the feel we were going for, and was a close friend through the entire process. Besides his obvious talent and professionalism, he is such a good soul, very easy to talk and relate to. He was so warm and understanding towards my family, allowing them to open up to him. I had given Pervez quite a big job, shooting my engagement session, pre-party, and wedding reception itself. He went above and beyond traveling to New York to photograph my husband and I in our current hometown. At each of the subsequent events, Pervez and his team put in the hours of hard work in capturing all the great moments of the nights, even moments I had missed while lost in the busyness of the moment (and his team worked so many more hours on editing the material!). My husband, Ted, and I first met Pervez at the historic Paramount Theatre in Boston for our engagement shoot. Me, my husband and our families were incredibly blessed to have Pervez's team capture the amazingness of our wedding. Honest Vendor Review- As a makeup artist (Touch Of Glam Boston), it's really hard to find a photographer you can work well with. Pervez was there from start to finish capturing every little detail. He got some great candid shots of me working with the bride and the entire "getting ready" process. That's not all, he then played around with different lighting and shadows to take some of the most perfect shots imaginable. It's hard for vendors to have good chemistry but I think Pervez can work really well with anyone- he respected my space and time while still taking some very impressive pictures of the bride. He also added his 2 cents when asked, which really helped because he truly knows what will stand out on camera. The thing I love most about his photography is that he is not afraid to try new things!
