Omgoodness I want to scream it to the rooftops and tell everyone I know to go see Allie for a…read moreboudoir photo session, you will not regret it!!! I have been holding my head a little higher in the days since my shoot, what a confidence boost!!! It was just what I needed and more than I could have ever imagined. It's known to some that I had an eating disorder and body dysmorphia 30 something years ago, for which I sought treatment (back in the day when it wasn't really a positive thing to do so.) The birth of my children made things easier for me to accept myself the way I was and I have kept my negative behaviors in check because of my children, but in the last year or so I could feel my mind obsessing about my flaws and my size, which has been getting increasingly larger due to many health conditions and the inability to work out in any form, including walking. I was browsing Facebook one day and saw a photo shoot that Allie had done and decided it was finally time, even at my heaviest, I thought this would be a good reason to work on my health, I now had a goal. I was so nervous!!! This was so not me, so far out of my comfort zone, but I did it, I booked my session for my 52nd birthday. I didn't actually lose the weight I had hoped to and considered canceling multiple times, but something kept telling me to just do it!!! And I am so glad I did!!! I have never felt more beautiful and confident in my whole life!!! Allie is amazing to work with and talks you through every step. The photos she took really capture the true me!!! There were genuine smiles and real laughs in some of the photos and those were my favorites, they were so real!!! Allie is such a talented photographer!!! She was able to capture the best parts of ME!!! I could go on for days, but basically the bottom line is YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!! I have many times that I would consider to be the "best days of my life", like the birth of my children and grandchildren, my wedding day, the day I survived my accident, etc, and this day with Allie rates up there with them, it was the day I discovered myself and saw myself through Allie's lens, it was the day that my confidence grew by leaps and bounds, and it was the day that I felt my most confident and beautiful!!!

Laura Wagner is the perfect wedding photographer. Nowadays photographers charge exorbitant prices…read moreand take an excessive amount of pictures, from my initial meeting with Laura I explained I wanted her to primarily document key moments vs every moment. She was so professional and experienced that she was able to parse back and nail it. Without a first-look and formal photo session before the wedding, we were isolated to the cocktail hour. She was able to find the perfect backdrops around our venue to get people in place, snap the photo, and send them back to the fun of cocktail hour. She was able to blend into the excitement of the day to be everywhere without being obviously in everyone's face. Her demeanor on the day-of was so professional and relaxed that it made the photo process stress-free. Then within days of the wedding, she was already finishing editing photos for her blog, with the full set in less than a month. I was so impressed with the quality of the shots I doubled down and am having her do a photobook as well. Overall, she was extremely flexible and professional from start to finish with a stunning end product that leaves family and friends going - who was the photographer!

He just knows what images, scenes, and emotions to capture in a photo. I met Stephen in San Diego......years and years ago. Maybe mid 2000's when he captured awesome moments of me and my female cousins for a reunion. And I kid you not he has done weddings, celebrations, and various photo shoots, almost every year, for our family and extended family, ever since. I was so honored that he was my photographer for my Lao Wedding in 2012, here in Sacramento, CA on last minute notice. I literally cried once I got word he accepted to do my wedding because I knew he would provide only the best work. When I first looked at our wedding photos, there were so many moments that I had no clue he was capturing and that's what's so great about his work. YOU DONT KNOW HE IS EVEN THERE!! Trust me, you will be so happy and satisfied with Stephen's work. Money well spent.

We were booking pretty last minute but we really wanted some good fall foliage in our photos, and Stephen was able to squeeze us in on a Friday morning and it was perfect. We booked a 1 hour session at Cider Hill Farms and ended up taking photos for an extra half hour with an outfit change and we had such a good time! Stephen was so friendly and relaxed during the shoot, and even though it is a very busy season, he was able to get us our gallery from Oct. 28 just under three weeks later. The gallery we received is absolutely stunning. The foliage and the lighting were perfect on the day of the shoot, but Stephen was really able to capture both, and colors in our photos are unbelievably beautiful & exactly what we were hoping for. The gallery is easy to use, easy to share, and easy to download from. We are really grateful to have these photos and would absolutely recommend Stephen Grant Photography for anyone in the area!
