I sent them to a friend who had already booked her own newborn photo shoot and she said she regretted putting down a deposit with another photographer because she loved Nicole's style! We don't take a lot of photos and are pretty camera-shy, but Nicole was very helpful and gently guided us on what to do and made us feel free to try out different things. I was so excited to find a local photographer so that we could have our yearly photos and holiday…read morephotos done each year. I signed up for Christmas Mini's that were advertised 30 minute session and 12 photos. well...upon getting to her house she did not introduce herself or even ask my child their names I had to say, "hi are you Erin?" and even then she confirmed her name and didn't ask ours,...a very wham bam thank you mam service similar to a mall photographer. My session lasted approx 5 minutes and this was after requesting her to come back to take individual photos of my children (once she was apparently done she walked away didn't even say goodbye I had to ask her assistant if she was coming back or was gone), she came back once her assistant got her, seemed annoyed and said "we'll you will be missing out on extra family photos". when she photographed my husband and I separately his hand was placed so that it looked very odd in the pictures when I asked if she had one without his hand there she said no. Part of the service of a photographer is to pose people and notice if something looks odd and fix it, she should have seen this...it literally ruined the photos. she said she would look for a different photo to swap it with but she never did. One of the other photos she gave us has one of my eyes partially blinking...prob was the only option to send us since she took such few photos for such an incredibly short photo shoot (not even 5 minutes, she denies this but my husband looked at the time at the start and end of shoot it was less than 5 minutes!) save your money and find a real photographer this is another stay at home mom trying to make a buck.

Kate recently did a One Year Cake Smash photoshoot for our daughter. I wasn't sure how our baby…read morewould do, as she is in a "busy" phase. But, Kate made it so fun. She was kind and patient with our baby and the hour flew by! Our baby had a great time! We originally hired Kate to do our newborn photos last year (April 2020), and unbeknownst to us...or anyone, they ended up being canceled because of the pandemic. It was a really hard time for us to be in a pandemic, with a newborn, as new parents, while isolated. Missing out on our newborn photos was a small but nonetheless heartbreaking loss for me. Kate was so graceful and kind, she offered alternatives and came to shoot us (from afar) outside at our home...those photos will be forever memorable.
