There are lots of locations. They basically offer lessons and other services that a regular guitar center might not specialise in. During this process another tech brought a bigger machine - afterhours. Then he correctly diagnosed the problem - the city line was plugged. Zach talked to the city dispatcher (Saturday @ 8 pm) and then left. Was stunned the bill was reduced to $100 (afterhours callout fee), Zach said "We didn't fix it you don't pay" Was shocked when a Huntsville Public Works truck showed up 2 hours later (10 pm on Saturday) and used 750 psi to unclog the sewer line. Brought in an old bass with very high action that I had picked up for cheap, and did not really expect that much could be done to help playability. I was pleasantly suprised at how nice the bass played when I picked it up. Mike did a super job for me and at a reasonable price. I am an experienced player with many years, basses, and gigs under my belt, and have had work done elsewhere. If you are on the North side of town, this is the place to get guitar work done. Mike was professional and a gentleman to me, and had a very clean shop. Highly recommended. read more

The owner - salesman - guitar tech was there - repairing Guitars is his Super Power! He fixed it handed it back " no charge " I almost passed out I had spent an inordinate amount of time trying to repair that guitar and he hands it back like it was nothing. Man thank God for this guy! I shopped for bout 15 minutes- new strings some cables, a product for refreshing my fingerboard - D'Addario Hydrate - and some Dunlop 65 guitar polish/ cleaner ( amazing stuff) and plucked on a six string banjo tuned like a guitar - never seen one - funfun! I could make those sounds on Neil Young's Song Old Man - very cool! Well Local shops are the best! You Tube and Amazon was absolutely no help with my Washburn. Thanks Andrew's your the best!

I…read morehighly recommend them Zakk Wylde even come out and play in front of the store every now and again so it's a win win win. And they also give you a case every time you buy a guitar because every guitar comes with the case, they give it to you in the original case unlike other music stores that we all know such as Sweetwater, Guitar Center, American music supply or AMS none of them in the original case you have to buy it for extra $200-$300. At TME they give you a case whatever Guitar you buy I've never left that store without a case. A hardshell case at that not a gig bag. But a real hardshell case that you could stand on all the guitars in it, and it will not hurt the Guitar. I even had one fall out the back of a truck and hit the ground pretty hard in the hard showcase and they were both fine. All three were fine 73 Gibson and less Paul 1998 seven string Ibanez RGS/RGA?? 7 7120 something like that. it was black with a Floyd rose. I don't remember what kind of pick up cause back man seven strings had just come out not many people knew how to plan now they're just as easy if not easier to play in a sixth string because everything's based on seven patterns and the strings of positions and fingering on each string and on and on and on, I think if you learn guitar theory with a seven string, you wear your ass fit a lot faster than having to see the seven string feeding pattern and the fingering positions just to get a seven string so you don't have to skip that seventh repeating pattern you just play it also you get a full three octaves instead of two octaves and 4 notes so basically anywhere from 17 to 19 notes Max. On a seven string you can complete the whole fingering pattern in each three note for string pattern and you played 3 office and your notice that if there are a much shorter space on the six string it will go from like 5th fret to 7 or eight, possibly nine

Long, long ago...I made a promise to my mom that I would eventually learn how to play the guitar. After receiving a gift certificate from my wife, I've started to make good on that promise. Robbie has been a great instructor, and through his guidance I've learned a few things about playing some tunes. Since starting my lessons, I've bought an acoustic guitar, and had another one repaired and cleaned up by Andrew. Now my old Kay sounds better and looks great. Paul runs the shop and knows how to make his customers feel right at home. Some of the bigger stores can be intimidating; that is not the case here. Come into Firehouse Music and get to know these guys. It's never to late to learn how to play!
