Wonderful local florist...they take the time to give each customer the best care and attention. Warm and helpful, the florist personally designed a special arrangement for my father's birthday and even arranged for same-day delivery. Not your run-of-the-mill florist, this one takes the time to stock unique flowers and put them together in fantastic ways...so refreshing with all the ho-hum chains out there!! Reasonably priced arrangements and delivery is included in the price. I can't recommend them more highly...I will definitely be ordering from them again!! Thank you, Nectar!!! read more

Bravo to this wonderful florist for flawless customer service. My wonderful boyfriend planned to have flowers delivered to my job on my birthday from 1800flowers. When he discovered they were never delivered they told him I'd get them the following day (not my birthday). He was extremely upset and called Nectar close to their closing time and they were more than happy to throw together a beautiful arrangement for him AND deliver them. Nectar to the birthday rescue my boyfriend was EXTREMELY pleased and my last min arrangement was filled with beautiful poppies and hydrangea ! Thank you !!! read more

Cannot recommend this florist at all. I really like to use local, neighborhood businesses, this one fell so very short. The flowers were not delivered on time. Even though they said they knew where the address was, they needed to call me well after the delivery time to find my address. In addition, I do not think they securely handled the processing of my Visa -- which worried me enough to get an invoice and pay by check. Will be looking for someone else. read more

Excellent. Period. I walked in, no idea what I wanted for my wife for Nurses' Week. Karisa was right there walking me through it all. No hurry and so friendly to talk to. She explained the types of arrangements and flowers and prices thoroughly. I left excited to come back and see the finished product. I picked up the arrangement not even 2 hrs later. It was GORGEOUS. So many different and beautiful flowers that worked perfectly. Most importantly - my wife LOVED IT. She was so excited she posted it on FB to brag to everyone. THANK YOU! read more

Absolutely love this place. The owner is always nice and her work is always phenomenal. Whenever I'd get flowers for my wife this was always my first choice because she always loved their arrangements. Now that we are getting divorced, I look forward to visiting more often to get stuff for my girlfriend. read more

I am a flower lover..... and I have high expectations. I never want any of the typical designs that many florists use....a right triangle, a ball in a basket....the usuals. I also LOVE to send flowers! When my son and his wife moved to Charlotte; I searched for a florist. After reading all the reviews, I tried Nectar. WOW! Both times they designed arrangements for me, they were fabulous! Flowing, unique and filled with high quality blossoms. Uh...yes...if there is a downside....they are pricey! But...I wanted unique...high quality..... Yep! I got it! read more

I called Nectar for a flower hair clip for my upcoming engagement party. When I spoke to the woman on the phone at Nectar, I told her I was having a Key West themed engagement party and was looking for more tropical flowers for a hairpiece that weekend. I was getting my hair done and just wanted to pin some orchids or some bright tropical type flowers to my hair with a little greenery. I don't know all of the names of various flowers but I mentioned orchids or something like a birds of paradise. I know I called the week of and she mentioned there is a flower shortage (Which I understood because what ISNT there a shortage of right now in covid world?) and they didn't have orchids and she said birds of paradise wouldn't work bc it is too large. All of these things I understand and had they said, "we don't think we have anything that will work", I would've thanked them and just kept calling around. But I said I think you get the look I am going for- I trust you as the professionals to sub whatever you think will be tropical and goes with our theme of bright tropical looking flowers. I mentioned like a bright red, pink or orange w green. She seemed like this would be no problem and I had high hopes especially after looking at their reviews online. I was really bummed to show up and see the hair piece they created for my "tropical" party. It was 3 small light pastel yellow and pink roses with some light purple small flowers and some green stems. It was....pretty, I guess, but looked nothing like what I had described that I was looking for. I said as much to the woman at the counter, and she just kind of stared at me, said nothing, and said that will be $37. I was shocked at the service (or lack thereof). She could tell I wasn't happy and clearly didn't care, and I thought it was just egregious seeing the small basic pastel rose buds. I should have left it on the counter and walked out but I, feeling really disappointed, shocked, and like an idiot, paid and left. I went home, cut 3 white orchids off of the plant I just bought from Harris Teeter for $20 and took to them my hairstylist who simply bobby pinned them in my hair. All's well that ends well since my hair looked beautiful but I never even used the $37 hair clip and now know a lot better than to call a florist and use buzzwords like "engagement" or "wedding", especially for something so small. Needless to say, I will not be using them in the future, biggest reason is their lack of care for customer satisfaction. read more

Looking for something unique and full of character? Look no further than Nectar Floral designs! I have had the opportunity to work with Karisa for a few years now and I can promise you, she NEVER disappoints! She is creative and kind, unique and helpful, detailed driven and reasonably priced. She can deliver or you can go to her shop located off N Davidson at the McGill Rose Garden (which I highly recommend - it is a little paradise in itself) read more

I just had their flowers sent to a friend and they are beautiful! I chose Nectar based on the photos on their website and they do not disappoint. The best florist in Charlotte. Karisa is a one of a kind. Creative and kind and thoughtful. She understands her clients and knows exactly what to do. Her creations will blow your mind. If you don't call her for your wedding, you are a fool-you will look just like every other wedding or bouquet of flowers out there with no thought or sentiment behind it. So call Nectar. I do not recommend this florist. I spent $90 on flowers that lasted 2 days. I've bought flowers through various vendors before and have never had a problem properly maintaining them. If you like to throw away your money, then go ahead. read more

Karisa was very nice and welcoming. She had several small succulents available which she gets from local nurseries. She helped me put my plant of choice in a cute little pot she had there for sale. She also gave me info about the rose garden open to the public behind the shop, that I didn't know existed. (It was beautiful). She was really nice and I liked her. Thanks for your help! read more

Belated in writing this review, but Nectar came through on delivery with a brilliant bouquet despite treacherous, post-snowstorm conditions on Valentine's Day. A fun little shop that's a great change of pace from the national chains. Well worth stopping by. read more

I ordered thank you flowers for my boss and Dan was awesome. Very lovely people with gorgeous arrangements. Our transaction occurred by phone (as I am in Los Angeles) and he couldn't have been more lovely. I highly recommend this business for all your floral needs in the Charlotte area. read more

I'm out of state and was looking for a local florist in Charlotte (for a same day delivery no less). I kept coming across shops with the same, identical boring arrangements until I found this gem on Yelp. Called right when they opened, talked about what I was looking for, my budget and just a few hours later a beautiful bouquet was delivered. They made it all easy, and I actually talked with a lovely human about what kind of flowers I wanted used. So happy! read more

I received a beautiful arrangement from here from a friend. It is absolutely stunning and a wonderful variety of flowers. Smells lovely as well. My friend had it delivered to my office for my birthday and my colleagues all admired it too! Such a cheerful present, can't stop smiling about it! read more

I came in this morning to get flowers for a friend who has been ill. The designer put together an absolutely beautiful arrangement in less than 10 minutes. Everyone that was working was helpful and kind. The flowers were perfect and I enjoyed a nice stroll in the garden while I waited. Highly recommended. read more

Went here for Valentine's Day. Got there pretty much right when they opened and found three girls girls working very hard to get everything done for the big day. They were very kind and helpful and went over my options with me. Customer service was top notch. The reason for 3 stars is for the product itself. The flowers were kind of drab and wilted. For 70 bucks and no roses this was a pretty big downfall. Thank you for the great service but I'm not sure I will be returning for a high price and sub par selection of flowers. read more

I was a pleasure working with Dan and results made the recipient very happy. Dan went out of his way to get me Calla Lilies and got the flowers delivered in record time. read more

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with Nectar! My sister was in the hospital and I wanted to send her flowers. She lives in Charlotte and I am out of state so I was at a loss . . . Went to Yelp and then to Nectar's website and thought it looked perfect - updated and pretty. I called and the first question was do you want softer colors or brighter ones? I knew then we were on the same wavelength. I wanted something more compact so she would have options on where to place it and got great advice. We decided on a square cube with a birch liner and it was perfect - the flowers are beautiful and she was thrilled! She lives in a different part of the city and had never heard of Nectar but has filed it away. I also loved that I got an email from them when my card was charged and another email confirming delivery. So nice! Within 15 minutes I had a picture and a thank you from my sister . . . Picture below is one she sent me when she was back at home. Highly recommend!! read more

Nectar - Needed something to lift my sister's spirits when she was in the hospital. Exactly what the doctor ordered!! - Florists Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

I used the online website to place an order and was very pleased to see a flower shop with an original aesthetic and personal touch to their styling. The website was very user friendly and the turn around in receiving a response was very quick. When my friend received her flowers, she was so happy with the arrangement and said it was one of the best she has ever received. Wish we had a shop like this in my area! read more

Nice little shop. Beautiful flowers and a very helpful owner. Without a doubt the best place I've found to buy flowers in Charlotte, and a great small, locally owned business to support. I'll be back. read more

Let time get by and had to request the arrangement just the day before delivery. Picked Nectar in the first place on the basis of more original designs on their web site (not the usual teleflora-type bundles), and gave them a collection of information to satisfy with their arrangement. (I don't even know what "dark colonial blue" is, but the flowers looked very nice against that wall.) Communications via email and phone were effective in all respects, and the receiver was very happy with the result. Well done! read more

Karissa was the best to work with...I have decorated for several weddings and she was such a professional, and she made my job so much easier. Another out of town reviewer who needed to send flowers to someone in Charlotte and lucked out via Yelp. Called with the vague instructions that I wanted "An arrangement with textures and colors that pop like gemstones" I gave a budget and said "She likes pink". I was told that they didn't have any pink flowers in stock but would send out for them. I told them that if it meant a delay, I'd pass on the pink. Well, within hours I got a wonderful thank you telling the flowers had arrived with a photo that totally blew me away....the arrangement was beautiful and complex - not something you'd see walking into a typical florist...colors galore and yes there was some knockout pinks. I don't think I could've found a more perfect arrangement. The biggest surprise was when I got the bill...under budget! read more

I've never written an onlin review. My sister sent me flowers for the remembrance of our mom. The arrangement is spectacular. I sent her pics, and she said don't show them to my siblings as there's no way what she sent them is as nice. I don't ordrer a lot of flowers, but Nectar will be my go to florist! Thank you. read more

I am incredibly happy with the flowers I ordered from Nectar.
