I needed a living plant for my sister and brother in law as his sister had passed away. I had called another florist and was trying to get help getting through the internet. She wasn't very helpful and ended up asking me if I had "got it". She then ended the call. I called Flowers Plus and spoke with Daphne. Daphne was amazing. She said she would go to Home Depot after work and find just the right plant. She did that and she wasn't happy with what she saw so she went the next morning and found the perfect hydrangea that can be replanted in the yard for a lasting memory. 12/8/16 UPDATE: Rcvd a response from the owner today, who was very nice. I am pleased they listen to positive AND negative customer feedback. The store manager, Deb, helped me out today, and refunded my money, and for that I am grateful. The issue I had was that I was looking at the photos on their website when I called in to place an order for delivery. Apparently, their website is run by a third-party, and the arrangements that are sent out by the florist do not always match the pictures on the website. (In the case of my order, the PHOTO on the website showed one type of flower, with a yellow center, but the DESCRIPTION of the arrangement listed a different type of flower, with a black center.) I am not sure why this would be the case, but I prefer to have less artistic license taken when I have preselected an arrangement. Often, I will call and allow the florist to make an arrangement just by me giving them a budget. But, that is not what I did this time. My advice is, if it is your desire to have a specific arrangement with specific flowers sent, be cautious if you are making a selection off of their website. read more

Wanted flowers for someone special. Flowers Plus delivered. The when they were received, the recipient texted me "I'm in awe. I don't think I've ever gotten sent flowers... Much less ones that are 5 feet high, stunningly beautiful, and look [crazy expensive]". The designer, Gary, did an amazing job. I asked for something contemporary and that's what they delivered. Orchids from Taiwan, Birds of Paradise from Hawaii, and foliages, lilies and gerbera daisies from California. Not quite a United Nations of flowers but an exceptional assortment. I called Flowers Plus after seeing their 20% off promotion on first time orders. The owner didn't know what I was talking about couldn't find the promotion, so he denied my request all while I was listening to him and the receptionist go back and forth while I was still on the line. I cancelled my order, called another floral shop and received excellent service. Moral of the story, if you're running a business, be familiar with your own promotions and honor them even if you can't find it.
