Was disappointed in the vase of flowers sent to a dear friend in hospital. They arrived as they were leaving the hospital, and I visited them the next day at home. For the Amount of money I was charged, the vase was small and the flowers were already bowing. Could have gotten better flowers at Walmart. Disappointed for sure!!! read more

Decided to cheer myself up during quarantine by gettingt flowers. Luckily Roseland was still open for pickup. They were so friendly and helpful with my indecisiveness on what I wanted. This review is long over due. I puchased flowers for my girlfriend's birthday a almost year ago, but being close to valentine's day I am about to stop in again. The first visit to Roseland's my work day was longer than usual and my options were limited when I got off. When I arrived they were already closed by 10 minutes and the door was locked. The owner heard me at the door, let me in after hours, and even helped pick out the flowers. He went above and beyond for a customer. For this reason I will be a client for as long as I am in Charlotte. P.S. My lady loved the flowers. read more

Two (2) days from Christmas (23rd), it dawned on my 81 y.o. brain that I had failed to send a card or any confirmation for a female friend (Grand Rapids), who turned 79 on Wednesday. Speaking to Chuck shortly before noon (12:00), after making my request; he simply told me, "he would try". That comment came from his experience, staff, weather, sufficient supplies (flowers, etc) and all had to be measured into his words of confidence, "I'll try". Nothing at all was promised and since we had used him during November and December on a few other occasions, I felt like this late date and timing was all on me. However let me finish my story: My friend Carol, called me that afternoon (23rd), less than three (3) afters after I had spoken to Chuck at Roseland. Do I need to say anymore, nope. However she called again over the weekend and again today (29th) to remind me to "Thank" my florist. She sent pictures of the flowers again today. So for Roseland, I'll take your word every time. So disappointed with the quality of product that was delivered to my family from this florist. Ordered on ProFlowers and paid over 100$ for a deluxe Sunflower bouquet and was so embarrassed by what I saw when I came to visit. No quality, awful quality flowers, not worth a single penny of it. My mother bought grocery store flowers for 20$ and everyone compliment how lovely hers were in comparison to the joke provided from this florist. So saddened by this all. I called Roseland's from out of town (from a google search selected by Yelp reviews) as I needed to order flowers for my mother-in-law who was just out of surgery. They were just preparing their final trip to the hospital but waited so I could place my order and have flowers delivered same day (I called at 3:30pm). They were so nice helping me put together what I was looking for, and because it's hard not being able to actually see what you're ordering, they were even so kind as to text me with a picture of the bouquet they put together!
