This place is terrific. I called from Eugene Oregon for a quick rush job, but they took rush seriously. My nieces birthday ran into us. Try to call yesterday at 3:00. Never believed they delivered a beautiful custom arrangement. I asked if they delivered. And boy did they. I called at 8:am and they delivered with in an hour. I called here the Thursday before Mother's Day to have some flowers sent to my Mommie's job. I remembered this place from growing up as it is right near our church, Friendship. The original owner, Mr. Geraldo Stroud, was the fabulous organ player at our church for many years until his passing. I believe the shop is still owned by his family. The mom and pop feel is definitely apparent in the excellent service I received. When I called, I didn't really know what I wanted and I was trying to track my Mommie down to figure out where she was going to be for the day as she often telecommutes. The representative on the phone was kind and patient while I figured everything out and was able to put together a beautiful arrangement for my budget. She also delivered the arrangement in the time promised (one hour!!) to my mom's job. Which for the short notice I gave her was beyond amazing! Before she even got to her office, her coworkers were calling her to tell her about the beautiful flowers that awaited her. She sent me a picture (which I will share) and they were absolutely gorgeous. I will certainly use Strouds in the future and will recommend them for their stellar product and service. read more

The worst floral experience I have ever had. What started out as a custom order turned into the worst selection of flowers that were not even remotely close to what I had asked for. For a bouquet that was close to $200, I was expecting something absolutely gorgeous, but what was received by our friends was a mishmash of the worst colors and cheapest flowers that did not even go together. It was the worst! Not to mention that I was not even contacted by the designer when she discovered that they did not have any pink flowers (which were requested by me), and she chose to use peach and dark red/burgundy - which I NEVER would have approved. When I called to voice my disapproval with what was delivered, Stroud's wanted to go back to our friend's apartment and TAKE BACK the bouquet without replacing it with something else! This was the WORST experience with a florist I have ever had, not to mention ZERO customer service. Apparently at Stroud Florist, they believe in "The customer is never right"...you better be happy with whatever the designer throws together for you, because it is guaranteed to not look anything even remotely close to what you ordered.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! read more

The staff was very helpful with a phone order I made from out of town. She was able to respond the same day. It was what I asked for-a yellow and white arrangement to be sent to a funeral home. The bouquet was lovely and the people who received it were very appreciative. The woman I dealt with was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this florist. read more

Just had awesome customer service here today. I just got into town for a family friend home going. I forgot to order my flower because off all the snow in the area. The service started at 1pm, i called them at 10:30am and She sent an amazing looking flower to the church for me. I wasnt sure of it at first because i didnt know how it would look.
