Shell is a LIFESAVER!!…read more One of my resolutions is to reduce clutter and get organized. Shell came to the rescue to help me organize my life, starting with my garage. Our garage was an embarrassment, I dread opening it in case people look in. Shell and her assistant took on this project with a smile. First they took out everything from the cabinets and sorted out things according to category. They set aside items that could be trash or discards for me to review. She recommended some different size plastic bins that would fit inside the cabinets. Finally, they used the bins to organize the items and rearranged them back according to category. Finally, I don't have to spend hours looking for an item. I know exactly where to find what I'm looking for. Our garage looks much neater and I don't freak out every time it's opened. They also helped us organize a messy closet and created a storage area for our merchandise. She even made a great suggestion to reconfigure my home office to make it more efficient. We brought only what we absolutely needed in to our small space but it was still a challenge and overwhelming to create a new living space that was organized with less cabinets and rooms! Well Diane sure came to the rescue, first with a virtual consultation and an appointment to get started. What impressed me most is that Diane got started right away while I was on work calls because I work from home. She made her way through all our kitchen items and quickly sorted and put all the items in the cabinets that was organized and that made complete sense in how we would use the kitchen area! I was going through a stressful time while also packing to move. I asked if she could help with the kitchen and dining area. She took a lot off my plate by going through each cabinet and drawer to box items up. But even better, she communicated that decluttering was part of the process. Items that I hadn't used in over a year or didn't have a real home immediately went to a donation pile. Anything that was damaged or showing a lot of wear due to use was tossed. Just having her there to talk through the process and help make decisions was a huge relief and kept us moving along. I honestly was so stressed because kitchens tend to have a lot of items, but she was able to clear it out fairly quickly. I would say we had a few trash bags and at least 5 to 6 boxes of donations.
