She doesn't push you to donate or throw away, which is nice because sometimes having something from a loved one who passed on, has a memory attached to it and might be hard to part with emotionally! Jessica Tabor was supposed to be my business partner. She ripped me off too. I started the…read morebusiness, hired her as a helper, she then begged to be my partner. She has no knowledge of vintage or antiques and needed lots of training. Soon after becoming partners, Jessica began stealing from me. I later found out she stole from clients as well. I couldn't be associated with her any longer and quit going to the last property we were contracted to liquidate. I couldn't get rid of her as she then claimed it was soley her business! She lied to try to steal the business I started! She had even sent a second contract without my name to the family to try to keep from paying me. She owes me over $12000! I took her to court where she lied under oath to the judge! In the long run I am the winner to be rid of her. None of those actions involved me nor was I aware of what she was doing behind my back. I have raving reviews for every job completed since she has no longer been involved. I will not allow her lying and stealing to affect my integrity. Her Last Call business didn't even make it for one sale. I wish I would have known earlier about your problems with her as I would have brought this up to the judge in court. It was not me being dishonest. It was 100% her. Do not trust Jessica Tabor for anything!

We always try to support local businesses, because those we have used in the past have shown integrity, honesty and were trustworthy. Unfortunately, Ginger & Spice left us feeling ripped off when all was said and done. I would never recommend them for reasons far too numerous to mention here. Their poorly written contract covers every scenario to not hold them liable for theft, breakage, or anything else. They profit the most, not the seller. Said $1000 of stuff had to be sold, and explained it as "$500 for you, $500 for me." I thought that was the 50% they take as their share, which in itself is ludicrous! Well, they kept $1,000 AND 50 percent. Said the $1,000 was needed to pay the help. The payout after our sale was outrageously less than we would have made with a yard sale, and we had 3 households of things to sell that filled a garage and driveway. Mandy Baker continues to operate under Herbgirl & Vintage Estate Sales and Jessica Stimson Tabor operates Last Call Sales. Don't be fooled by the smiling faces...the devil comes as an angel of light. We learned the hard way, so please don't let our mistake be yours.

California Closets gave me a beautiful design and a reasonable price. They asked for half-down and half on delivery and allowed me to pay by credit card. Febrication took just over a month, and the installer arrived exactly when promised. The installer was not only punctual, but also very kind, competent and helpful.
