Decided to find a new hair salon after my last one decided they no longer needed to mask up…read more I found this place after passing by for years. While not everyone was wearing masks, many were and all it took was a simple request for the people working on me to mask up. Joe did my cut, and I have to say he spent more time with me discussing what I wanted than anyone else in the past. He was meticulous! It's probably the best cut I have had in decades. I'll definitely be back!

One Star - Furious, Heartbroken, and Completely Let Down…read more I cannot believe the experience I had at Trendz Salon in New Jersey. I booked an appointment with Miriam for bridal party glam waves, clip-in extensions, and makeup--clearly stating this was for a black tie wedding I was attending that night. The whole reason I scheduled this service was because I got off a flight from a wedding in Vegas at 7 AM this morning and needed to be camera-ready and on time. When I arrived, no one told me that Miriam doesn't specialize in this type of styling or makeup. They just let her take me back like everything was fine. I showed her a photo of myself with the exact look I wanted. Fast forward 2.5 hours--my hair looked frizzy and windblown, and my makeup hadn't even started. I was told I'd be done in under two hours. I was in tears at the front desk. Thankfully, two kind stylists rushed in to help and tried to salvage what they could in about 30 minutes--I'm truly grateful for their efforts. But still, only 3 of my 9 extensions were put in, and I looked nothing like I asked for. Worse? I was charged $316--full price--for this disaster. For reference, I paid less for my actual wedding hair and makeup, which looked 1000 times better. Because of this, I was also late to the wedding I was trying so hard to make it to in the first place. This experience was not only unprofessional--it was emotionally exhausting and unacceptable. I own a salon myself and would never allow something like this to happen to a client. If you're considering Trendz, do not book online. Call directly. Confirm your stylist is experienced in the service you need, and ask to see examples of their work. I will never return here and strongly caution others to be very careful before trusting them with important events.

Allison is fantastic!…read more I found here on Yelp, I think, in a desperate search to find a reasonably-priced makeup artist for my wedding (which I was planning over the course of 3 months so I didn't have a ton of time to do research but also did not have a ton of money to spend). Boy did I hit the jackpot! Allison is a great and professional makeup artist. She really listens to what you want, is open to any changes (no matter how subtle), and makes you feel comfortable the whole time. She also has a calm energy which really helped on the day of my wedding when I started getting nervous :) Highly recommended.

Heather is absolutely incredible!!!…read more I had been going to the same salon for several years out of state + was very happy. When I relocated to Morris county this summer, I went to a different salon + unfortunately had a very bad color job. I was going to drive back out of state to my former salon but came across Heather's website. After looking at her work I immediately knew she was the gal to go to. I had my appointment today + she did an incredible job on my color, cut + style! I am SO grateful!!! (Not to mention how kind + down to earth she is!) If you are looking for a seasoned + kind hair professional, she is it!

Rather than using manners, the employee blew up, harassing the driver with screaming, cursing, and getting in his face while he was simply trying to complete his job and move the truck. Blocking a driveway is a minor inconvenience and not one that warrants extreme aggression.
