We had a wonderful time visiting 3 vineyards. Our guide was sweet and kept us on schedule. The charcuterie board was great. It was, however, disappointing that we never received a pastry and a glass of wine prior to leaving and we were not given lunch, but instead had snacks. When I originally booked the tour, the website said it included both, pastry/drink and lunch. I just think for how long the tour is and for the amount of wine that is consumed, a lunch would be appropriate. But overall, we had a great time! read more

This was an amazing experience. Amazing host, food, wine pairings, a little wine education, different experiences at each selected vineyard, AND a sober driver... I mean what more could you ask for?!? We loved this day and all of the vineyards selected for us. We had a pastry and wine to start the trip, at our first stop we had incredible charcuterie boards with an intentional wine selection, 2nd stop was a variety of chips with wine flights, 3rd stop was delicious caprese sandwiches with paired wine of course :) THE ONLY thing I would have done differently was pull out some of the un-eaten food at all stops.. for example, stop 3 could have included the extra chips and left over charcuterie. However, all day was amazing and this is just a slight suggestion. Book them now! read more

First off, I wanted to mention how much we loved Megan & Harry! She had the best personality and the most beautiful energy, very fun lady! Trying to plan my birthday weekend during a pandemic was a little difficult, so after doing some research I found the NC wine gals page and it was perfect! The weather was beautiful, the vineyards were breathtaking and the food was soooooo good! (Especially Megan's meatballs) I highly recommend taking their wine tours!! read more

One of the best experiences. Megan is extremely joyful and such a kind spirit. She took care of me and my group and it was essential that she made sure throughout our experience that we were comfortable. From the moment we met up Megan was informative and knowledgeable. Any questions we had she could answer. Our first wine tour experience and it will not be our last. You'd be mistaken to go with any other wine tour! Harry was the absolute sweetest ever. Half of the experience Harry was gazing out at the fields, the most zen pup I've ever met. So thankful for this unique experience. What a great adventure! My friend booked this tour for us for my birthday and I am so happy she did. My first thought was wine tour? In Charlotte? What? The wine gals pick you up in Charlotte and take you to NC wine country and proceed to charm you and feed you and open your eyes to amazing wines in NC! What an amazing day! It was everything a Carolina wine tour should be, relaxed, great company, good food and great wine. An amazing trip! My group of eight friends met Megan and the bus around 10am Saturday morning, our itinerary included 4 wineries with a return time of about 6pm. We had at least two wines at each stop with the last one having 4 tastings. All of the wines were wonderful, nothing sweet. The day before our departure Megan prepared food pairings for each spot and fully accommodated our friend with a gluten allergy. She even mastered a new meatball recipe that used gluten free breadcrumbs so we could all eat the same pairing. The experience was as covid safe as you want it to be. Highly recommend this and will being doing it again soon to experience more of the wineries across NC. read more

We were really reluctant to spend money on a tour when we could just drive ourselves. It was time and money well spent! Didn't have to worry about what wineries to visit, time taken, designated driver, etc. My spouse doesn't even drink and she had a great time. read more

My mom and I planned a trip with NC wine gals for the 2nd of August. I have a medically necessary service animal and legally he is allowed to travel with me everywhere. The day before our wine tour we reached out to inform them he would be joining us for the tour and was greeted with incredibly rude and ignorant comments. One being that we must pay an additional $100 to bring my service dog. If you do not know, it is illegal to charge a disabled person differently for having a service dog. I even provided the law which instructed them of this. They were still incredibly cruel and insistent that we pay, so we cancelled our tour. I have made a complaint to the ADA about this business and hope they are educated better for the future. As a person with a disability I do not recommend this business to anyone. Try the wine and chocolate tour at the Biltmore house instead! Incredibly nice people and great wines. read more
