Had such a wonderful experience going on these Golf Cart tours this weekend. I had some family in town for the Bills game and I wanted to show them around the city. This was the best way to do it. Period. There were four of us, and our guide Danny. We explored all around uptown and the guide did an AMAZING job bringing the city to life through its history, current times and fun facts. Had an awesome experience with Brian! My husband and I were the only ones on the evening tour and it was very intimate and personalized. Brian took us around the city and pointed out great places to eat and gave us historical facts of the area. This tour was my favorite thing we did on our trip to Charlotte! Brian was knowledgeable and seemed like a king of the city. He knew many people in the area and greeted them by name. We paid around $40+ person for 90+ minutes. I thought the price was fair. You pay for the experience and the guide. I would recommend the tour to anyone visiting or even regulars that live there just to see the city in another light. If we ever go back to Charlotte, I would make it a point to go again. Tips: I would bring a sealable beverage and light snack if you'd like. Nothing messy. You meet across the street from Fitzgeralds (and Queen Charlotte statue). read more

We paid $38 for 1hr ride with "Telma & Louise" in golf cart just driving around uptown. I guess the highlight of this "tour" was to learn about the Martini glass building. They were sweet but I would rather pay for a real tour and go all around, maybe hear some historical facts instead of just roaming around one area. read more

I'm a huge fan of a city tour as a starting point for any visit. This was no exception! We were extremely lucky to have Dan Jordan as our guide. He chatted and waved to everyone..made lots of people smile. He is a true ambassador of Southern hospitality. He was a real pro about history, culture, architecture and everything Charlotte. His love for the city is quite apparent. It was nice having water, I was worried about heat being in a cart, but the city has lots of shade and I was comfortable. Unfortunately, we do not recommend this tour. It was $36.50 per person and that doesn't even include the online fees which made it to about $40 per person. Also parking in the area is hectic and is about $15. The email did say to arrive by 12:50pm for our 1:00pm tour. We understand that it was our fault for not arriving by 12:50pm due to parking being difficult to find, but we still arrived before the tour start time of 1:00pm. We arrived at 12:58pm, but no tour showed up. At 1:10pm, we called the office to see if the tour was coming and we found out that they had already left. We asked if there was another day or time that we could tour instead and at first we were just told that there was nothing that could be done and that we missed our tour, even when we arrived before the tour start time. He even said that someone tried to call or text us which was untrue, because we did not receive any phone calls or texts from them. After further discussion with the man on the phone, he finally showed some form of customer service and said he would call a driver to swing by and pick us up. The driver was apologetic and very friendly (much more friendly than the man I spoke to on the phone). Unfortunately, the tour itself was subpar. There were a few interesting historic facts, but it was mostly just driving around and pointing out buildings. We could of honestly just drove around ourselves and read the building signs and that would've been the tour. Also, the tour was supposed to be an hour and a half. However, with the fiasco in the beginning we missed the first 20 mins of the tour and the tour ended 10 minutes early so essentially we paid for 90 minutes but only got an hour tour. I'd say take another tour if you want your moneys worth. read more

We did not have a great time on our tour. We had a brewery tour and it was unorganized, the breweries didn't know we were coming. Just not what we expected. We thought we would get more for the price. Some history on the different breweries and what they were known for. Lastly our instructions were to be at the meeting site 20 min early and the driver was 15 minutes late. read more

Fun and informative! We had a tour of the city with Sandy, and she was extremely well informed about the history of each of our stopping points. We were one of two groups on the tour itself, and she made sure to allow ample time to ask questions about the history of the city and see what brought us to Charlotte. It was very noticeable that locals knew her from her friendly interactions along the way, so it was reassuring to know that our tour guide had spent 30+ years being here. We did the $49 brewery tour. For that price I found the tour to be a bit lacking. Our guide Anthony was great and very personable, so by no means a reflection on him. But for $50 a person all we got was a ride to a few breweries and one beer (didn't even get our free fried pickles). For that price I would have expected a sampling flight at each brewery, some kind of tour of how it's brewed, and prior notice to the breweries that a tour was coming and they would have reserved an area or at least had someone to greet us. Literally we were just dropped off to fend for ourselves at each location. This is no different than paying for an Uber from place to place and that would have been MUCH cheaper since we were paying for our drinks at each place anyway. So my advice would be to skip the tour and look up your own breweries to visit and Uber between them! read more

Booked this Brew and had a great time. Was a little worried about the social distancing, but we were the only couple with our guide. Kae was an excellent guide. She told us some of the city high lights as we drove and information about each brew pub we visited. All 3 breweries offered a great selection and were aware of the social distancing. Queen City Rides is the BEST new way to experience and travel through Charlotte! The driver picked me up (on time) at my home in South End. My friends and I buckled up and hit the road in this street-legal 8-person golf cart! We passed breweries, restaurants, and the ballpark to head uptown. It was a quick ride with beautiful weather, lots of laughs, and fan fair from curious on-lookers. I will definitely book a tour...or simply wave for a ride! Kevin gave us a fantastic trip through what seemed like every neighborhood in CLT. He was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. I had not expected such an extensive trip on an open air street-modified golf limo. I would recommend it to visitors and locals alike. Learn more about your city in a great open air experience. It moves as fast as nearly all of the downtown traffic but provides panoramic views along the way. He also gives rides to and from in Charlotte which would be a great way to get home safely. Just what we were looking for: small group tour of Charlotte for our first time in the city. The open air golf cart was perfect. It allowed us to easily look around and was a nice compromise between a Segway and a bus tour. It was a chilly day and the blankets were a thoughtful touch to keep us comfortable as we drove through the city.
