The team at NC Rebuild was wonderful! Jason came by to give us a free estimate on our roof which needed replacing. He noticed wind/ hail damage. He and his team fought tirelessly for months with our insurance company to finally get the entire roof replaced and fully covered by insurance. His team replaced our roof (including the wood under the shingles), replaced all the gutters, did some repairs around the house, replaced some siding, and painted. He was very professional. In an industry where we found folks weren't always responsive, Jason was VERY responsive and answered all calls, texts, and emails immediately (and was happy to answer our insane amount of questions). He did the work in the time frame he said he would and was more of a perfectionist than we were. He and his crews were extremely professional and great to work with. The owner, Jason was very professional and honest as to when the roof would be scheduled and worked with me to get a roof on my house today before I suffered any further water damage inside. 3rd anniversary of horrendous experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! NC Rebuild installed a roof on my house in May 2015. In September 2015, while mowing my grass I stepped on a roofing nail that went through my shoe into my foot and caused a serious infection resulting in 4 doctor visits, 2 of which were to an orthopedist. I was almost admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics. I contacted Jason at NC Rebuild about this as he had promised me all the nails would be retrieved. He offered me a ridiculous explanation that he couldn't be responsible since there was no way of knowing if the nail was left while the old roof was being removed or the new one installed. I couldn't even respond to the ridiculousness of that since I couldn't fathom what difference that would make! Also, his crew left their trailer in my driveway overnight, and when they got it the next day, there were nails and roofing debris left in the driveway that I had to clean up. Also, I have since found another nail in my backyard. Jason said today that the nails might have been left when the original roof was installed 31 years ago. Say what? When hurricane Matthew hit the NC coast, my roof ( remember it is brand spanking new) leaked leaving a stain on the ceiling in one of my bedrooms. Jason dismissed this as "it was a hurricane". Yes, it was, but not in Raleigh. The roof was supposedly repaired today. We'll see! He does not want to be responsible for repainting the ceiling, and basically kept cutting me off as I tried to talk to him. He said he was having a bad day and that today was not the day to talk to him. He also said I had called him 3 times and that he was tired of it or something along those lines. I had a roof leak that needed to be repaired, so I called a few places in the area and either had to be called back just for an estimate, or I had to leave a message on a machine. I called NC Rebuild Inc and Jason answered the phone. I told him my situation and he said that he could be here to fix it in 20 minutes! He arrived on time with all of his equipment, assessed the situation, and gave me a very fair price for what he planned to do to fix my leak. He began to work right away and when he was done, he even showed me before and after pictures of everything he did. He also noticed a couple of things that needed to be caulked, so he did those out of kindness and prevention of any other leaks. I was so pleased with his professionalism as well as his friendliness.
