I ended up going with another company, and this guy missed out on a 10k+ project because he can't communicate.

With the Flooring Clearance Center in Fort Mill, SC we dealt with some of the most dishonest people I think we have come across .Called Colt ( the owner ) multiple times and have yet to talk with him. In addition to Colt, we dealt with Jason, James and Colin. To much to mention on here but my message is to beware ! Look into more than their solicited reviews. Look over contract and pricing closely. Our opinion is to Find someone else to do your floors. Having said that the guys that actually did the job actually worked hard and did a good job. If we found something the prices were either so high or I really didn't like the quality of the material. So after a good ol Yelp search this place popped up. I'm so glad that we have found this nice local gem. Seriously me and the Mrs. came in and found something we both loved in 5 minutes. They have quite the selection Hardwoods, Vinyl Planking, Engineered, Tile you name it! and let's not forget the important part budget. The prices are good but great for the quality of the material. The Vinyl Planking we chose is equivalent quality to the premium Pergo at the big box stores but more expensive there than what you can find here. It's a family run business and the employees are knowledgeable. They were very helpful and made sure I didn't order more flooring than I needed. I was thinking I needed to order an extra 10% for extra cuts and screw ups since I put the floors down myself. The saleswoman said I was going to end up with too much extra and even another 7% was too much, and..... She was right. But it's nice to know I have an extra few boxes laying around in case I need it. Overall I was more satisfied and oh yes I do tell my friends who ask where I bought these floors. I was told that new samples would be in soon. I did receive a call that the samples were in. I stopped by picked up samples, picked out my floor, stopped by the store with my selection, asked if I needed to leave a deposit - was told no since I was a previous customer. I was told it would be about six weeks before he could get to my floor. I waited six weeks to call, when I called I had to leave a message. The call was returned and I was told it would be the middle of November, another six weeks. I posted a note on Mint Hill Carpets Facebook - his reply was I'm sorry I could not get you on my schedule. This company wasted over 2 months or more of my time. I now have to start over looking at floors again. I was so upset with this company. Based on a conversation I heard while in the store, it appears I got ditched for a larger church job. That is not the way you do business. That was my recent experience.

I returned with the samples and we went over the numbers for an estimate. For the excellent quality of the hardwood flooring I chose, I was very pleased with the price, which included installation. Due to unforeseen problems with damage under the floor, I kept in touch with Mr Greg to let the team know that repairs needed to be made before the flooring was installed. He was patient and understanding, and he assured me that whenever I was ready to have the job done, just call and they'll schedule the installation. When I was finally able to call for the installation, I was promptly put on the schedule. Mr Juan did an amazing job! He was right on time for his 9am appointment, and I'm very impressed with his attention to detail.
