Five-Star Review for Social Security Administration…read more I've had nothing but excellent experiences with Social Security. Anytime I have questions or concerns, they are addressed promptly and professionally. The staff--whether on the phone, through the 1-800 number, or in-office--are always kind, understanding, and patient. The process is straightforward, and the website is easy to navigate. Even when speaking with an attorney or judge through Social Security-related matters, I felt heard and respected. That's a rare feeling with government agencies, and it deserves recognition. A special shout-out to the Norwalk office--they go above and beyond. Overall, Social Security provides truly outstanding service. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a big round of applause!

The security guy was very chatty and friendly to one lady that was there too but real short with everyone else. Including myself and I'm a kill em with kindness kinda person but it didn't work on him. I needed the restroom and asked him if they call my number to please just let the person know I'll be right back. (It always happens they call your name when you step away.) He said I can't promise so hurry. I thought, I'm not asking for favors just to let them know I didn't leave but ran to the restroom. Well, of course they called my number but I ran back in the nick of time. However, the lady who was going to assist me was not in a very good mood. Her attitude was one of a stereotypical DMV worker who is unhappy with life. Anyway, she couldn't help me and told me I'll need to come back. Now let's talk about today's visit. I made an appointment this time at it happened to be for 10am. The process is pretty awesome. All the way up to checking in and follow up messaging. The gentleman who helped me was AMAZING too!!! I wish I got his name to mention. Oddly though, I still waited 30 minutes past my appointment time to be seen but was in and out once seen in 5 minutes. I would definitely come to this location again if ever needed. I hope to get the man at Window 5! Thank you sir.

This is one of the few places where a presidential birthplace and burial site are both on the same grounds. Amidst a gorgeous reflecting pool, rose garden, and the palm trees typical of Southern California, Richard Nixon and his wife are buried about 50 feet from his birth home. The house lies in its original footprint when Francis Nixon built the modest house on a rural citrus ranch in 1912. It's perfectly preserved in the middle of a busy suburban setting today, included in the tour. Surprises within the sprawling complex include a replica of the living room at the Nixon's beach house in San Clemente, a full-scale replica of the Oval Office, a chunk of the Berlin Wall, and oil from Saudi Arabia's first oil well. There are countless other artifacts! Best of all, you might enter the museum thinking of Nixon as scandalous, a Republican who became America's only president to resign. But you'll leave with a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, the impact Nixon had on abolishing the military draft, developing relations with China, and signing legislation that would advance women's sports, protect countries against nuclear war, desegregate southern schools, protect the environment, and even initiate the end of the Cold War.
