First time trying this place and I love it! The options are gluten free and diary free which is great for people who have dietary restrictions. I got the açaí bowl with peanut butter, granola and strawberries. So flavorful!

Absolutely love this spot! I have ordered the paddle bowl and it is so good! The paddle bowl base is coconut, blue major and mango. I would love to try others but this one is so good! The bowls come in three different sizes which is nice. The smallest is perfect for a treat. The middle I feel is great for a meal and the largest for sharing or maybe freezing some leftover for later. This is my new favorite bowl spot and I have tried quite a few. My daughter loves it too. In fact she recently got me a gift card here for Mother's Day so I am sure that it won't be long before we visit again!

Nautical Bowls is fairly new and located in a large shopping center similar to Mosaic or Fairfax Corner. The store is spacious with plenty of seating, has a ton of natural lighting, and very clean. When I came, two very nice employees. I ordered the Paddle Boat, which tasted exactly as described and was good! I think this will be a good place to go as the weather heats up and you want a refreshing snack. I like that you have a choice between menu items and BYOB. All the flavors worked well together and it all tasted fresh. I don't know if I would come back here because it's not usually what I'm looking for and it's a bit pricey for what it is, but I would recommend it if it's your thing!

Overload goodness! They have wide range of options of what you can get and allow you to customize or modify your order. I could say the portion and the price was good. People were nice - give you recommendations. The place were pretty decent with indoor seating, clean restrooms and you can also work inside. They have this jars every table to get you and your company have something to talk about, and that was cool. Will go back!

First time trying Nautical Bowls! :) great dessert option for not only summer but all year around. Food - Sunrise bowl! Colorful & refreshing dessert! Strawberry and bananas were fresh and tasteful! Service - friendly staff & quick service! Ambiance - relaxing & clean & fun place! Parking - many parking options around the store. Need a little "beach" get away? Stop by and enjoy a bowl~

First found out about this location from a Yelp Elite I went to a while back so I knew this place was good! It's always so refreshing no matter what bowl you get. I love the different layers and toppings you can get. It's always super fast to get your bowl which only takes a few minutes to make. The cashier and workers are always super kind and knowledgeable with explaining. The interior is decorated nicely with blue and always bright and clean. I got the big island bowl and it was delicious!

A great deal!

*Yelp event: This place was amazing! The service, vibes, and bowls were 10/10. Great family owned business that believes in wellness. Personal favorite was the paddle bowl which was coconut, mango, and blue majik yogurt bases, strawberries, I believe honey, granola, and coconut shreds to top it off. The service was warm and welcoming even leaving, a worker was already clocked out and said see you soon. They also check-in periodically. There is a special going on about getting free coffee with any bowl purchase. Excited to try their smoothies.

I stopped by one Sunday afternoon in the middle of a run. There wasn't any other customer in the shop, so I had the whole place to myself! They had a few customers come in for pickups and takeaways as well. The shop was spotless and is decorated so cutely. The staff were chill and really friendly. They had really good suggestions from their menu as well based on what I like. I went with the Protein Bowl. It was absolutely delicious. I loved it. Price wise, it is a little bit expensive for me; but when the craving hits, ya know! I will definitely be back to build my own bowl next time. Definitely recommended.

Wow wow wow! Who doesn't love a smoothie bowl- I got my bowl with a chia, açaí, and coconut base. I topped it with strawberries, bananas, blueberries, cocoa nibs, goji berries, and hemp seeds. It was so delicious! Service is fast and the employees are kind! The store itself is nice, bright and clean- with plenty of sitting space. My only qualm is about how expensive the bowls are. That being said, I think I will be trying to get a bowl every other week because of how yummy everything is!

Such good smoothie bowls! The bases stay cold and frozen for a while which I love. Got the paddle bowl without coconut. Was so delicious and the dingy is the perfect size. Also tried the tropical tide smoothie which was good, but the smoothie bowl with all the granola and fruit toppings made it my favorite. Employees were so friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to come back!

Awesome new spot in Leesburg definitely worth checking out for those looking for a healthy snack. Whether you are looking for a recovery snack from your workout or looking for a chill spot to grab a snack and hang out with a friend, Nautical Bowls has it all. The menu features different flavors as a base for your bowl and all your favorite toppings to make sure you get the perfect bite. I honestly didn't know what to get so I went with the staff recommended paddle bowl which was delicious! Three base layers that include mango and coconut topped with strawberries and granola. Excellent recommendation from a super friendly and efficient staff.

Been here before but I have to say that I am not impressed with their product. Compared to other similar establishments that have the same concept, the bases are not as great. The bases taste super artificial. They have big tubs of the bases in a fridge against the wall. It just didn't taste right to me - one of my bases was mango and it was getting to the point where I couldn't finish it. The only good thing about this place is that they do unlimited bases. But now I see why.

Linda P.

I had a great time. The store was so cutely decorated with nautical theme everywhere including their tables. Plenty of room and extremely clean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The bowls were very refreshing as the homemade peanut butter is really good.

Buford's Biscuits absolutely lives up to the hype. If you're a biscuit lover, this place deserves a…read morespot on your must-visit list. We stopped in on a Friday morning and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. We were seated immediately, which gave us a chance to take in the restaurant's charming farmhouse aesthetic. With its high ceilings and rustic décor, it feels like a modern take on an old country farmhouse that's warm and inviting without feeling overdone. As an unexpected bonus, we happened to visit during Restaurant Week, and the special was an incredible value. It included a Buff-Mosa, deviled eggs, and the Low Country Biscuit. My wife ordered the Southern Philly, so we ended up sampling a little of everything. The Buff-Mosa was a refreshing way to start the meal. Made with Blue Ridge Vodka, Cava, and strawberry-watermelon juice, it was light, crisp, and not overly sweet. The deviled eggs were topped with bacon jam, which added a nice savory touch. They had a bit more mustard and horseradish kick than I'm accustomed to, but they were still delicious and packed with flavor. The real star, though, was the Low Country Biscuit. It was absolutely enormous, stacked with perfectly fried chicken, chunky pimento cheese, and hot honey. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the combination of the rich pimento cheese with the sweet heat of the hot honey was outstanding. The honey added just enough spice to complement the sandwich without overpowering the other flavors. I also tried a bite of my wife's Southern Philly, and it was fantastic. It's a creative Southern spin on a classic Philly cheesesteak and one that's definitely worth ordering. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. One fun detail I really appreciated was that the check is presented inside a book, a small touch that fits perfectly with the restaurant's farmhouse theme. Between the outstanding biscuits, generous portions, creative menu, and excellent service, Buford's Biscuits delivered a fantastic breakfast experience. There are still plenty of menu items I'd love to try, so we'll definitely be back.

However, the waitress walked up to our table sniffling and wiping her nose. The last thing you want to see is a sick server helping you. And I don't know if it's because she was a little sick but she was not friendly. I asked my companion if he thought she seemed unfriendly and he agreed. And although our food came out looking really good, we chatted about how our dishes tasted, and both of us were kind of lukewarm about them. It felt like each dish was relying too much on what went on the biscuit for flavor and the biscuit itself was bland. That was really surprising since that's the entire theme of the restaurant. I don't know if it was an off day and they forgot to add salt or something, but even the leftover biscuit that I had the next day was bland after the second try with it. A colleague had actually recommended this spot to me so I was overall surprised by our visit. I'm not sure if we'd give it another try.

Then I opened the sandwich and it had 2 pieces of meat and 2 pieces of cheese, with a handful of arugula. This is not enough substance for the price. The workers were very friendly and kind but I can't justify frequenting at that price point. $31 for a lunch that's mostly bread is just too much.

We had a reservation on a Thursday at 5:30 and were seated promptly. Our waitress, Ellen E, was pleasant and attentive. First we asked about happy hour (which goes until 6) and were told this is only applicable at the bar. OK, I guess, but not very friendly especially to those of us who are height challenged and can't do the high bar stools - and who also might want to enjoy a meal. I had an LPH burger and subbed sweet potato fries for regular fries. I was surprised to see a $2 upcharge on the bill since on the menu (which I just checked again online) these 2 items (regular and sweet potato fries) are exactly the same price. I mentioned this to the gentleman who took our checks (another server) and he said he was told this was how to charge it. My friend also had an LPH burger and asked for yellow mustard instead of the dijonnaise that was included. She was charged $0.25 for this "addition." Again, we were told this was how they were directed to write the tickets. I don't think I've ever written primarily about pricing policies. But honestly the $2 and the $0.25 - combined with the happy hour only being at the bar - seemed very nickel and dime. Despite the food being ok, I don't think I'll return as these policies left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended).

I'd often be coming from my office at companies in Howard County or Halethorpe (Baltimore County), MD , so I almost took the less traffic northern route down I-70 to Frederick & down US 15 to avoid often times traffic somewhere on 495, avoiding toll on Dulles Toll Road & Green Way or slow of VA-7 all the way to Leesburg. The multiple times I was going down US 15, I was thinking it was a cute place, but left turn in and left turn out with sometimes a lot of traffic to make the left back onto US 15 wasn't worth it. And sometimes wouldn't be going back the same way as until 2017 lived in NoVA And even 2017-2020 Wheaton, MD, I'd still often tough it out take VA-7 to 495 and deal with nasty traffic to get back home. On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, I happened to have not eaten lunch, took US 15 back into MD, and decided to eat a late lunch here at Roots 657 on the southside of the small hamlet of Lucketts, VA. The outside of this place looks like a large barn. Inside the store, there's a gift shop like what you might see at Cracker Barrel, but less cramped and nicer. Ordering was at a counter with a chalk-written menu above. Staff was cordial. And the burger was big quite possibly the best burger I had in 2018 and a lot of fries too. Although work travel to Leesburg is highly unlikely these days, if I'm ever out there for work or other reason, I'd definitely want to revisit this gem.
