Next we talk delivery. It was Wednesday 15 min before closing. Nicole says I can guarantee Saturday del. I tell her my building doesn't allow weekend dels. :/ She makes a call (at 9:45pm!) and says we can get it to you Friday. I was like omg you're amazing. She says, it's a family owned company so we can work magic when we need to. So next I select a sofa/sectional with right facing arm, then I get home and realize I need left facing arm. I go online to adjust my order, but I only specify one piece! So Friday my bed and sofa show up, but the chaise portion was a right facing arm. The del guys (who were absolutely amazing, courteous, and cleaned up everything) tell me they need to call the office and get it sorted out and that this has never happened. Then I looked at the paper work and saw that it was indeed my mistake! I spoke to the lady at the w/h and she apologizes and says it's their mistake bc they should have caught that these two pieces didn't pair up. I insisted it was mine bc I changed the order last min on an expedited order..that they so kindly accommodated. Then, she calls back 45 min later to say they were sending a special truck to switch out the piece within an hour. I was speechless. I thought for sure this would be next week. So, in short (which I know this review is not), I witnessed a sincere company culture throughout my experiences with everyone at Baer's, and that was to put the customer first. With plenty of free parking and curated items displayed outside, you instantly get into the shopping vibe before even stepping through the door. The shop is divided into different rooms featuring well-selected items, pants, dresses, shirts, décor, and even Christmas ornaments. There's also a men's section with dress shirts and suits, plus a secluded room with designer clothing that's slightly pricier but definitely worth checking out. What impressed me the most was how clean, organized, and welcoming the whole place feels. The staff is wonderful, and I was delighted to learn that it's a nonprofit organization run by formerly incarcerated individuals, helping support their reintegration into society. On top of that, shopping here promotes sustainable clothing demand and supply. I absolutely love this initiative and look forward to continuing to support them. I came here hopeful but left somewhat disappointed. No one greeted me at all and I had to find someone to help me. Beyond that, they seem to have the same type of furniture shown in different ways. There are lots of colors to choose from but I wanted to see more styles. If you have something custom ordered, it is a minimum 5 month wait. It comes from Asia. Price wise, it is about what you would expect nowadays. They do seem to have a generous return policy if the customer is unhappy. That is definite plus.

Miami house project was put on hold due to unforseen issues with the renovation. I contacted Margarita to let her know this & explained that I'd be in contact when we moved into the home. There was a scheduled appointment in May 2019 for a 2nd house visit which was cancelled due to a complication babysitting her grandson. After trying to contact Margarita to finalize the job (sent 5 emails & 2 phone calls with NO reply) I received email stating "not taking in new projects & she hopes I find someone" This was not a new project - we gave her $500. Then came Elizabeth (the Breville representative) which was so sweet and helpful when asked about the Breville brand. Then came Mathew which helped us with the Bialetti coffee makers. All were so patient with us and extremely helpful. It seem rare these days to find those qualities in such a busy store and I would like to commend Bed Bath & Beyond for such a great staff P.S.
