(Indicating it was old or over soaked) The server seemed he was about to tell me he didn't have boba. But he scooped whatever he had left for the night. Waited 35 minutes for our two drinks. It was 10 minutes till closing when we received them. I think my review stands true. Customer service was not there. Shop was very unkept. I felt uneasy by how it was not clean for guests. We went to check out a new Korean corndog place that recently opened near my cousin's house. We ordered the original and the hot cheeto corn dog. They also have bubble tea. It took about 10 minutes to get our food, looks like there was 1 person working in the kitchen and 1 person in the front making the drinks. There's a cool sign with the logo for pictures, but nobody wanted to take pictures. Otherwise the restaurant is cute, I can see the young ones hanging out here. read more

This is a wonderful spot for an out of the box meal! The customer service is phenomenal every single time. The food is fresh made to order and the flavors complement each other in such an unexpected delightful way. This is a very interactive experience in a very unique whimsical environment. This place is always white glove clean. These are hardworking professionals here! The girl working the counter remembered me from last week. I very much enjoyed the small talk with her and I felt special being remembered like that. After seeing the line down the street for their booth at CelebrAsian, I finally visited the store in Ankeny and WOW! Now I know what the fuss was all about at Asian Fest. Amazing Korean hot dogs. This was my first visit, so the owner gave me some great recommendations. I had the half mozzarella, half cheddar filling with Hot Cheetos dip and Sriracha mayo dipping sauce. Phenomenal! So delicious! I can't wait to go back to try one of the hot dog versions. They have a great selection of drinks, too. Try this place ... you won't be disappointed! read more

Super excited that a Korean corn dog place opened up! First the corn dogs itself: they are perfectly fried and generous with the cheese, you will 100% get that photo worthy stretchy cheese bite. I have gone here twice and have gotten to try all but the sweet potato one. I loved the Ube one with a bit sugar on it. It is sweet and savory and the color is a nice purple inside. The potato one has some nice crispy potatoes on the outside, for these I recommend doing half cheese half sausage. It might not seem like a lot but just one can be quite filling. The Flaming hot Cheetos is another delicious choice but don't recommend putting sugar on it unless your into that. Condiments are an extra cost by the way. The drinks: I've gotten three different drinks here and if I'm being honest the bubble tea is quite frankly average, they aren't particularly amazing or bad. Any topping including tapioca pearls will be extra, same with ice levels. Their fruit flavored options will pretty much be a slushy and not a tea. Inside: The decor is cute inside but very limited space which means only a tiny bit of seating. The times I've gone because it had just opened theres been a huge and very confusing line. The wait currently for food is long, as their kitchen looks to be manned by only one or two people at a time, so please be patient as they are a small business. Service was good. It wasn't very busy when we went in. And they had a sign on the door that they weren't making boba teas that day (bummer!) my husband got the hot cheeto dog, I got the classic, and we got an ube to share! All three were awesome! The only thing I will say is that the tv was sooo loud. We couldn't hear each other over it. We will be back to hopefully try the boba teas! read more

We tried the all-cheese Ube corn dog with sugar and the all-beef sweet potato corn dog with Siracha mayo. Both were HUGE and very good. They also packed my to go very well. Amazing K-dogs!! We bought 3 to try, an all cheese ube, sweet potatoe with beef, and French fries with beef. They were all delicious and still hot and crispy once we got home with them. It is the luck of the draw when it comes to which employee is making the drinks. The owner was not around at time of service/purchase. A new employee might mess up the make up of the drinks even if you tell her your choice from the menu. You request no sugar in your mango fruit tea and sugar was added. You request 25%sugar in your matcha slushy you get no sugar...my matcha slushy was bitter like tea is. I will be calling the owner later to tell her of the results. I hope the employee will not be let go as it is difficult to hire these days but improve her knowledge on the huge array of drink selections and make each as close to correctness as she can. The 3stars is for the cleanliness of the place, the wide array of choices and the K pop tv viewing while waiting for your drinks. The owner is a patient and hardworking woman. read more

I feel like this place was unfortunately over-hyped. ): we got a large brown sugar jasmine tea with boba pearls & a small peach slushy with boba pearls for the drinks. we also got a hot cheeto half&half corndog & a potato half&half corndog. our total was $30 with a tip. ** pictures for size reference ** the jasmine tea was something new for me & it was odd at first but grew on me. the boba is pretty small for being an add on & i have preferred another place that has larger pearls. the peach slushy lacked peach flavor but it was okay. the corndogs were pretty good, the hot cheeto being our preferred over the potato which didn't taste like much. maybe we needed sauce? but we did not want to pay additional for sauce. i feel like the prices are a little on the higher side - i enjoy another location whose drinks are a tad smaller but their boba pearls are larger for around the same price if not a little bit less. $30 seemed to be a lot for what we got, but, the corndogs filled us up. the service was good, nice staff. i don't think i would come again though based on the boba size & the price. i wasn't wowed unfortunately): read more

They were busy, I get it. However, I had a huge order and instead of fixing the order they refunded me and then just gave us someone's food. The chef or whoever he is just laughed at us and was straight unprofessional. The principal of the situation is that true business owners who want to be reputable and successful need to actually correct the problem and treat their customers more appropriately. To have your staff laugh at us and then just say "oh sorry we didn't get your order" and then refund us and hand us someone's Togo order that was cold.. that says a lot about your staff. I will not return and will not recommend it to people. I'd be surprised if y'all lost a year in Iowa. read more

My daughter and I visited today. I'm sure we'll become regulars. The staff was so friendly. We waited at a table for our to-go order and loved watching k-pop music videos until our order was ready (less than 10 minutes.) Our order was correct. The food was hot and tasty. We ordered the classic all-beef k-dog with sriracha Mayo, potato half and half with sriracha ketchup and Mayo and a sweet potato all cheese with sugar no sauce. All three were so good. The service at the restaurant was disorganized when we visited, but they were busy and it's a new establishment. I believe they will improve with more experience. The bubble tea was decent, but pricey. The main reason for this review is to highlight the Korean corn dogs which were amazing. 2nd time being here and a bad experience yet again. My sister ordered 11 Korean corn dogs. They didn't get her order right. She had to wait another 20-30 mins just for 3 corndogs. They only gave her 8 at first and she told them she had 3 more. When she was placing her order. The little short server lady at the front made a comment and said that's a lot of corn dogs. Instead of making little smart remarks like that. Be glad that you're even getting a order this large. Also when my sister was waiting for the other corndogs there is this guy I don't know if he's the manager or just a cook made another comment about the order being large. Why does it matter if it's a large order? Maybe you guys should be worried about getting your orders right and being a little more organized. The corn dogs were bland and not that good. You're better off getting them in Chicago or bigger states. Not worth the hype from this place. And will not be returning again. Wanted to give them another chance but that was a fail! read more
