During one week Game Worlds summer camps attendees create games and at the end of the week can pitch the video game. Yesterday, Thing One came here for a birthday party (not a camp) and was able to play a game that was designed for up to 8 players. He also got to look at the D&D themed game room, and the game design room while there. We both met with Jennifer Noonan, the Co-Owner who explained the skills children can learn while attending camp and the tools children used to build these skills. Thing One enjoyed himself in the 4 hours there as he was able to explore the different gaming rooms and learn more about game design. He was also pleased to learn that Magic: The Gathering is played here on the weekend, which is one of his favorite games. They have another trainer named Jessica who has several adorable ponies/kid friendly sized horses and after working with her on a Girl Scout workshop I highly recommend her for the kiddos--or anyone! Bonus: every staff member, boarder, and rider I've met has been warm and welcoming. No one is pretentious or snobby and everyone seems to be there for the joy of riding and the pursuit of horsemanship, not ribbons. My daughter was in an after school girlstart class and just completed her one week online camp session. They had a zoom meeting in the morning followed by a daily project and another zoom meeting in the afternoon to talk about results. The girls engineered a rover to explore Mars, went over genetics, created a double helix dinosaur dna model and, built a light up logo. They also studied sutures for surgical procedures which they practiced on stuffed animal patients. The final project was to program an ozobot with color coded paths they designed on their own. On the last day of camp the girls discussed goals they had for themselves and their futures in the STEM field. Girlstart empowers girls to be successful, brave, and resilient. We will definitely re enroll for after school classes and summer camp!

I have a sign up to leave my horses mask on due to her eye and Nina keeps taking it off creating eye infections for me to pay for and blaming me and almost lost my horses eye. The disrespect and lack of care and communication is horrible business. There's no accountability and to allow a narcissist like Nina to ruin a farm and hurt animals is insane. I wish this farm all the best - they need to keep the care of animals and communication #1 which has been a struggle for years & no change.

They have an insane selection of toys. Cars, musical instruments, trucks, dolls, pretend food. The teachers there are so kind and happily play with the kiddos. Lastly, and probably my favorite part of this place, there's so many animals! They've got cats, goats, a guinea pig, a bunny, a tortoise (I think lol), and birds. My son always puts up a fight to leave! Figment is our favorite place to go when we don't know what to do. This really fosters independence in a safe environment. All the activities are fun sensory activities that are very intentional for language learning and development. The best part is the different animals. There are three miniature goats that are very gentle with the children and very mischievous too. There is also Lizzo the lizard, a bunny, some hamsters, chickens, and Origami the cat. The staff is phenomenal and very encouraging and loving with the children. There are different classes for different age groups and there is an option to have an art teacher come to your home and do some activities with your child. I recommend this to anyone who has a child that is looking for fun, safe, educational, and exciting activities!
