I alternate between Weedman and Naturescape and find both lawn care services are exceptional! Have there been delays? Sure, but mostly due to equipment issues & that has been with both companies. Both companies do keep in contact and follow up with me in a timely manner. They always give me a heads up when they are coming so I have my lawn cut and move stuff out of the way so they can do an effective job. Weedman is pretty pricey and typically uses a time released fertilizer while Naturescape is reasonable and uses liquid. I'm a big gardener and have a large property and hence I alternate to save money. I highly recommend both services. I do find that meeting up with them to discuss my concerns and my unusual boundaries is a win win. Property lines and areas of concern are addressed much better if you're there when they treat. This would be true with any company. You can't expect them to know your property like you would. read more

My mom has had Naturescape for several years but she was always complaining about how long her grass would get before they would come and mow it. She recently passed away but I am keeping the mow service going until we sell her house. When we arrived out there for her funeral, the grass looked horrible. I'm sure it hadn't been mowed in weeks. The next day they came and mowed. They guy was whipping around on the riding mower so we THOUGHT it was being mowed. About 10 minutes after they came, my husband and I had to leave for an appt. We came back over 3 hours later and it didn't even look like the grass had been mowed! The grass in the front yard was still tall and going to seed and the back yard wasn't much better. Makes me wonder if they even had a blade on the mower! There was no weedwhacking done either. It looked absolutely horrible and I don't know how the technician thought he had done a good job! The attached pictures are how it looked AFTER they mowed. I contacted them and told them that they needed to come back and mow again and that I wasn't paying for that shabby job. They needed pictures of the yard first to see how it looked. I'm sure the pictures didn't show it as well as being there in person did. NatureScape accidentally sprayed our yard that we had kept pesticide and fertilizer free for 14 years. When I called to complain, they didn't even return my calls. I had just planted fresh clover and all of the broadleaf species in my yard were killed. read more

Unfortunately I would not recommend NatureScape, we had an issue with our service and the manager never returned my emails or calls even though the customer service gave them multiple messages. Slow with issuing refund (still haven't received it), it's been over a month. For a company that says they are committed to making you happy with their service, you've failed. read more

This company did the bare minimum of what you paid for. When they came to my home to spray the lawn they were here and gone in less than 10 minutes. Several times I observed that they did not get the entire loan. That is probably why they never got rid of the weeds I specifically asked them to take care of. Even at the end of the season when I complain about it the only response was let us try again next year. No, don't let them try again next year. They should have gotten it the first year. Very unhappy with their lawn mowing service. They ran over our fishing pole in the yard, did not tell us or pick up the shredded pieces, also did not hear from the manager about our complaint (only received a cold "I'm sorry" from their secretary). We ended up canceling the service, kept the fertilizer/bug control service, only because we pre-paid for the season. I had such high hopes for this company, shame on you for not showing pride in the services you provide. The service times are unpredictable and wide spread, we never had an idea of when they would be coming or even at all, hence the fishing pole being outside near the shed. read more

I contacted Nature Scape last week to set up an aeration and super seed, along with the tree and shrubs fertilizer treatment for November. Much to my surprise they came this past weekend, and they didn't do the tree/shrubs. I called and was told the manager would contact me on Monday. Today I got the call and apology. The manager asked if my yard looked good. No, cause I wasn't ready for your treatment. I began to tell her I am paying for a service and wanted it done in November for a reason and she kept deflecting. I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere next year read more

First year we decided to use a lawn service instead of just doing weed and feed and I truly regret it. The first time they came out it was great. Killed like 90% of my weeds. The problem started when they came out for a second treatment and completely killed my yard. When I called them to hopefully fix it they blamed me for cutting my yard to short. I had had perfectly green grass for the 8 years I've lived here and never changed the height of my mower but suddenly the day after they sprayed my yard died because I cut it to short. They have done nothing to fix this and I am less than thrilled. On a side note the "expert" kid they sent out to my house decided not to wear a mask when coming to my house and asking me to come out and seemingly didn't have a understanding of social distancing read more

Absolutely the worst lawn company I have ever had the misfortune to hire. They just did an aeration of my lawn straight after 2 solid days of rain. Of course this resulted in my lawn being completely ruined. What makes it worse is that I requested that they not do the aeration whilst the grass is soaking wet. read more

very bad service my first lawn application was over two months apart and second lawn application was 22 days apart, last year they did a lawn application when it was raining so hard they don't care they just wanna get things done there, my lawn was really good but they never did service on time so it start growing weed it was like throwing money in the garbage and then when called service Manager Dalton was very rude. read more

Naturescape's service was decent enough the first year we had them for me to sign up for a second year. However, last winter I prepaid for 5 lawn applications and a "Spring Aeration." As May ticked by I called at least once and was assured that our spring aeration was happening soon. June came and went. Our "Spring Aeration" finally occurred on July 1. Meanwhile, 2 lawn applications occurred during this time. From their website: "This aeration will also, minimize the damage that heavy thatch causes by allowing water, fertilizer and pesticide to reach the soil more." Basically the reasons why I pre-paid for a "spring aeration." I wanted it to occur before the lawn applications. I called to find out why the delay with the aeration. I was told they were behind and that our lawn would still receive the same benefits it would've received had the aeration been done in the spring. Experts recommend early spring or fall for aeration and July 1 is ... in neither one of those seasons. I assume Naturescape recommends spring and fall aerations, too, because THAT'S WHAT THEY ADVERTISE on their mailers. Sure, aeration can be done outside of spring and fall - their website simply calls it "aeration" and makes no mention of a season - but the mailers were different. So ... why advertise it as a "spring aeration?" At one point in May, I was told our aeration was happening within a week. Naturescape needs to change how it advertises its aeration services and follow through on service. Assigning a season sets expectations in the customer's mind as to when it a) WILL occur and b) SHOULD occur. Naturescape, just be upfront about what the customer should expect. I have no complaints otherwise - the lawn applications have occurred on schedule. But I can't say I'm gaga over their services either. I mean, it's lawn service. As long as the price is right and they don't chemically burn your lawn and the weeds are controlled, it's hard to nitpick. I was neutral until this hiccup. Now I'm slightly less neutral and inclined to just try a different lawn company next year because there's no exceptional experience holding me to Naturescape. read more

Very disappointed in their snow removal service - their plows have routinely come very late, 12+ hours after the snow storm is over. In the most recent storm, at 10AM the next day we eventually used our own snow blower. (The storm had ended at 4 PM the previous day). The plow finally arrived while we were blowing snow and only did part of the driveway. read more

We hired naturescape to mow our lawn when we went on a very long vacation. It was wonderful to return to the lawn looking great after being away 5 weeks. It was also a pleasure working with everyone at naturescape. We feel like the price and service was excellent. They were kind, professional and patient. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing the lawn was being mowed. We are very grateful to know they can take care of the mowing and plowing when we go away in the future. read more

I just told my coworkers that our lawn is so beautiful this year and they asked what company we use. We've been with Naturescape for over 5 years now. The reason we switched was because their prices are much better than the other companies in town, and their service is great too. They are committed to customer satisfaction and if we are not happy are told to call and let them know. This year we have decided to have them aerate our lawn. After using Naturescape for 2+ years for lawn fertilizing, I turned to them for mowing services. Because of an ankle surgery I was not going to be able to mow my lawn. I signed up for the service in March but it wasn't until early May before the service began. The first two weeks, I had to call the office to report that the lawn was uneven with missed areas or had not been trimmed. I was told that the service would improved. I also requested that the day of mowing be moved to later in the week but was told I had no option but the day I was assigned too - Mondays. The next few weeks the lawn care was a bit better but each time, they would show up later and later. One time a was at 7 pm. During June, for no apparent reason, they stopped mowing my lawn on Monday and sometimes it would be done on Tuesday or Wednesday with no notice. Only one time should it have been delayed due to weather there was never any explanation given to me when I inquired just that they were busy. It is now the week of July 4th and my Monday mowing has not yet occurred. My of my calls to the office are during business hours but are not returned until the next business day or several days later. I have asked my doctor for permission to start mowing my lawn earlier than expected due to the unreliabliity and unprofessionalism that I have experienced with Naturescape. I would not recommend them for lawn services based on my experience these past few months. read more

I really do not have a problem with the service of this company. However, if you are using them for Emerald Ash Borer prevention DON'T. According to several university educated, certified aborists the treatment they use is ineffectual. The arborist indicated that our beloved Purple Ash does have the borer even though Naturescapes has been treating the tree for several years. Yes the tree could have been infected prior to the start of said treatment. However, if we had continued to rely on the Naturescape treatment to protect our tree we would have eventually lost our tree not to mention throwing money down the drain. read more
