*UPDATED REVIEW*…read more ORIGINAL REVIEW: Spoke with Jeff, booked an appointment, moved everything in the house to prepare for this cleaning and he never bothered to put us in the books. They are not willing to squeeze us in, but state that they have other bookings and can not clean our house. What an incredible inconvenience! UPDATE: Updated from 1 to 3 stars. A few hours after contacting lots of other carpet cleaners to try to still get the job done (since I had already moved all the furniture) Jeff called to confirm our appointment. I was super confused and told him the office staff had said I had no appointment. He assured me I was on his schedule and that he would call the office. He called a few minutes later and all was squared away. He showed up on our appointment date on schedule and completed the job as quoted. I love the job with the grout cleaning and most of the carpet throughout except for the master bedroom. I think that maybe we just have a very light color carpet there and maybe that's why it didn't look as clean as I would have hoped. Pictures follow. The scheduling part was so confusing and such a hassle that I don't want to call back to have them come look at the master again so I'll just tell myself it's my carpet color. The reason for the 3 is that I wasted a good two hours trying to find a new cleaner when they had me in the schedule after all. My advice would be to check a day or two after booking to make sure you're on the schedule.

Making the appointment was super easy. I called and within a few minutes I had an appointment for 2 weeks out at my request. They emailed me a work order that included a basic quote. Since I wanted pet deodorizing + deep cleaning, AGC informed me that the technician would give me a new quote once he assessed my apartment. The technician I had was Jeff! Jeff was a rockstar, and super helpful. My carpets looked better than new once he was done! His add-on quote for the pet deodorizing was SO reasonable! I couldn't believe it! I'm kind of embarrassed to be attaching these photos because my carpet was disgusting, but check out the during and after! Seriously, I think I'll be scheduling once or twice a year carpet cleanings from now until forever. AGC made it so affordable and so easy! Thanks Jeff!

Victor came out to the house within two days of my request, gave us a quote on the spot which we accepted. I asked when he could start working and he said that he didn't have his calendar with him He promised that he would call that afternoon and schedule us. He had to decide on the best day to clean our house. Two days later I emailed him, no response back on the third day I decided I would just give him a call and he said that he was working on the schedule and would get back to me. He again promised he would call back when he decided on the best day to clean my house. It's been about 3 weeks now and I suspect that call will never come. What I can't understand is why he would put a special on yelp " $250 for $280 Deal at Folsom Cleaning Service". Who in their right mind would pay $250.00 for a deal of $30.00 off and maybe not even get a call back or even be put on the schedule for the job. UPDATE: Victor called. Since we wanted the house cleaned before Thanksgiving we couldn't wait forever. Prior to his call we hired another cleaning service to do a deep cleaning. I called and left a message to see if Victor wanted to set up an appointment for the every other week cleaning/ He never called back. I don't understand his way of doing business.

They did a thorough and methodical job on each house. First, they would blow off the roofs and gutters as needed, proceeded by a full strength water flushing. Since it had been a while since my gutters had been cleaned, there was an expected amount of debris, dirt and mud that would flow down the sides of my house. At first I was disappointed by the mess left behind, but when one of the guys noticed that I came out to take a closer look, he asked if he could enter my yard to remedy the situation as best as they could. I'm so glad I was home when they were there, because I was ready to write a bad review! The young man who entered was very nice and did a good job cleaning up the splatters that resulted from the flushing. When I pleaded if he could just blow off the leaves that piled up on my patio cover because I couldn't reach them from my short ladder, he went above and beyond by using the blower to get the excess leaves loosened and cleared off, (which wasn't part of the HOA contract). My only concern was that they had to use my water supply in front of my house in order to clean the gutters, which is necessary. But when I came home later that evening, I realized that the hose bib handle was turned on at full capacity and frozen in place. Fortunately, I had a secondary control valve attached to the faucet. But because of that, I don't think they noticed that the water could be heard making a loud fizzing and splattering sound ready to release pressure at some unforeseen future when I least expected it! I guess I was too weak to turn the handle off myself, even with pliers! So I had to get a neighbor come over and turn it back to off position, much to my relief! Other than that, I was thankful for their hard work at minimizing the amount of leaves that often plague everyone's gutter systems! It was such a noticeable improvement during the big rainstorms we had!

But when I hired them to do the remodel, the job went south very quickly. I am very unhappy with the work this company did. On day 1, they broke a pot that had a plant in it and didn't tell me. They hid the plant in a random bucket and I had to be the one to get them to replace the broken pot, which didn't happen until the last day of this 2 month ordeal. They used the toilet at my house, which was in my bedroom, and didn't flush. When I was home, a worker said some very inappropriate things to me like "cock and fuck" and "this insurance work is such easy money." Which made a job I already felt uneasy about, more unsettling. They left dings in the walls and spaces between the baseboards and flooring. The baseboards are not the same shiny white they used to be, they're dull and look dirty which makes me think they were only primed. There was sticky dirt left on almost every other panel of the new flooring that I have to use goo-gone to get off. They re-installed my toilet, stove and dishwasher side-ways and the sink in my guest room only dispenses hot water now. They used my couch that I had placed outside as their own personal work station. I came home to stacks of wood and tools on the couch. Some of this was fixed and taken care of but I had to ask over and over again. I am not a confrontational person but there were times where I had to fight with my project director for the sake of getting my house back to what is was. Overall I would not recommend this company and wish I would have used someone else.
