I ordered the pure matchalicous power smoothie. On the menu, it is listed as having banana, kale,…read moreagave, matcha, and coconut milk. In reality, there is no indication of matcha outside of the color. If I didn't know that there was supposed to be matcha in it, I would have attributed the color to something like kale alone. It wasn't bad, but it definitely is not what is advertised. Something I was also baffled about was the general poor service. The cashier didn't know what was in the smoothie when I made sure it was dairy free, and it was exponentially slow considering that I was the only person there. I can attribute both of those to training issues, but there's also the matter of the topic of conversation very loudly being held by the employees, which kind of ruined the vibes.

You are asked for a tip at the end of the transaction, and "no tip" is still an option. (I am still uneasy tipping for counter service.) I sat inside to go over the menu. An employee handed me a paper menu to look over. The drive-thru outside moved fast, and several people came by to pick up their orders. I was the only one in the Dining area. There were six employees behind the counter. My salad was OK, but it was missing tomatoes that were listed on the menu. By the time I noticed, I had eaten half the salad. There was plenty of chicken tossed in with the Romaine, so all wasn't bad. The dominant taste was warm Parmesan cheese and white chicken bits. I did like my smoothie. It wasn't too sugary. I ordered It because it was listed as naturally sweetened and with only 190 calories; most of the other smoothies have more than double the calories. One has to ask for the bathroom key at the counter. This would be annoying during an extremely busy time. The restaurant was clean.

She seemed to know the young woman behind the counter taking orders, as they were in a lively conversation catching up on each other's news. I patiently waited in line for several minutes while they kept at their social banter. The young female patron already had her bagged and paid for order sitting on the counter between them. After another minute or two, I found my anger beginning to rise over their rude indifference and no acknowledgement of a waiting customer... so I promptly left before saying something blunt to them.
