Stopped by the shop twice during our visit to Big Bear Lake. We were able to find some really great items in the store. We buy bracelets whenever we can find them. The shop has a great selection. All of my children wear them too, so they read what type of bracelet it is and what one they feel they need. We bought the dragon's blood bracelet, rosewood bracelet, and three hematite bracelets. Prices are reasonable and posted next to the product. They also offer sage sticks, incense, everything needed for smudging. Was happy to find the chakra flower sage, natural chakra incense and white sage and dragons blood incense. This would be a store we purchase from anytime we are in the area. read more

My wife and I stopped in spontaneously this past Monday and we're greeted by two women who were just so calm and welcoming by nature. They let us browse and do our thing but really my favorite part was when the four of us were talking about our experiences with certain crystals and how we use or should be using these to our benefit. We were in there during a particular special part of our fertility journey and without telling them that they helped us pick out something amazing to keep with us. Absolutely love this place! I've been a few times the past couple months and every trip is well worth it. The staff has always been so friendly and helpful with any questions I've had. Just walking into the store it's a very calming environment. We love their crystals and jewelry, and I also got my favorite hair stick here as well. Wouldn't even give one star but Yelp is nice and I had to. Super negative and unwelcoming energy! Wow, especially after the Harvest Moon! Not only were the employees rude but they also decided that it was appropriate to make fun of me and scoff out loud as I exited. No wonder all the shelves are stocked with dusty items. And to think I had $200 cash in my pocket to spend. Their lose and definitely NOT mine. I'll head to the other Gem shop down the road who I have spent hundreds at multiple occasions. I came in here on Monday evening after my family and I had dinner near by. At first glance I thought this will be an awesome experience to show my family all the crystals etc. Within minutes, I was asked by my husband and mother in law to leave at once. Both of them upset. I was confused and asked my sister in law what happened. She told me the woman behind the counter made them very uncomfortable, and was rude to them. We all walked out of the store with not one word from the woman behind the counter. As we closed the door behind us, I watched with my family as the woman came from behind the counter and started COUNTING and checking ONLY where we had been looking. She must have thought we were stealing from the store. My mother and father in law had walked in first, and were speaking Spanish, and she must have assumed my husband didn't speak English, because when he approached her at the counter, holding our son, he said "hello there!" And the woman behind the counter looked at him UP AND DOWN, and said "....hi.." and looked away. After she ignored my husband, he took personal offense. Obviously. They told me after I walked out, and let me tell you, I was pissed off. We walked across the street to a new shop, but I couldn't let that go. My family was treated horribly! I went back in and ended up confronting the lady. AND This is how that happened: I walked in because I was going to just get a business card to make sure I had the right business when I came on yelp to complain, but then i heard her telling a young couple about operating as your higher self, and about being aligned with your Chakras... I couldn't believe it. This same woman who refused to even greet my family and I, is now talking about being spiritually elevated. So, I ended up confronting her. As I mentioned early. And after she was done talking to them she turned to me and said "Oh. I didn't see you there." First of all, how did she not see me? I was almost touching the woman she was speaking to *****AND***** I had to reach over the counter to get the card. So it is not possible she didn't see me. Second, I told her it was very interesting to hear her speak of being enlightened when she was just so rude to my family. She said she remembered me, and said she did greet my husband, but she was also alone in the store and she was distracted watching people in the store. By the way, there were two other people in the store, and they were heading out from the back of the store. The only people she was "watching" was my family. I asked her why she looked him up and down, and why she immediately came from behind the counter as soon as we left? Her response was " people are sometimes careless.. and knock things over." I said "Did you hear something fall in the 3 minutes we were in here?" She obviously said "no." And I told her that being a spiritual practitioner myself, I was stunned by her prejudice against my family. Who did nothing but walk into a store. She looked at me and said "well, sorry if I offended anyone." But that's not good enough. To have someone treat you like you are beneath them, is unacceptable. ESPECIALLY in a store like this. The woman was clearly uneasy because my brother looks Arab, and my mother and father were speaking Spanish. I felt racist. They felt she was racist. We will never step foot in here again. And just Incase you're wondering who the woman was, She wears glasses, she is white, and her hair is dirty blonde and just under her shoulders. read more
