I wanted to buy so much stuff for my friends' kids and I but instead opted for just a few items. I purchased a LCR game kit, two toy planes, a sticker booklet and some NBA trading cards. The sticker book was a hit! It kept the kids occupied for a while. I paid about $40 which was not bad. They accept cash or card. The owner was friendly and thorough. She logs all items purchased manually which was impressive. We had a great experience and I highly recommend paying a visit when in the area!

While they didn't have the one I was looking for, they had another one I was interested in. I asked how much the figure was and was quoted $200.00 (plus shipping). I went ahead and purchased the figure. Unbeknownst to me, they had the figure on their website on sale for $183.99. I called the following day because my debit card payment had not gone through. At that time, I asked them if they would honor the sale price of the figure. I fully expected them to do so, since it seemed like an innocent mistake. Unfortunately, they claimed that several people were interested in the figure at full price and therefore would not sell it for less than $200.00. I'm very disappointed with how they conduct business and treat their customers. I was very excited about the purchase and this left a bad taste in my mouth. One of the girls (with blonde hair) had a stern look and said they had more in the back. Her expression left a sour taste but I still wanted to purchase it. I wanted to make sure it was okay with my husband so we came back later to look at it. He tested it out (pushed around and closed it). I asked the same (stern) lady if this was how the stroller work and she said yes after testing it out herself. She was about to ring up the floor model when I asked for a new one - just so I don't take the floor model. I can sense the roll in her eyes as she said okay and pushed the stroller aside. I said I was going to put it back and she said "it's fine" and stormed off. Strike 2. The stroller is what we wanted and at a very reasonable price compared to Target and Walmart. I'm all for supporting small businesses and you can't please every customer but I felt like I wasn't being rude or harsh when asking for a stroller.

When I went to pay, they attempted to charge more than the displayed price. When I inquired, the initial employee was going to honor the price tag. A reasonable thing to do. After seeking the manager for approval, she declined to honor the tagged price. She said the other gloves were marked with the higher price, essentially acknowledging the error in their tagging of their merchandise. Considering I don't work there and didn't price tag their merchandise, it was really confusing why that was relevant. Also, this all begs the question of how many times they do this to their patrons? Is it company policy to price an item one thing and overcharge by 33% and hope no one notices? Just honor the price tag. Not difficult. You did it, not me. I'm a paying customer, who is in town regularly enough. I hope the $5 was worth it. You clearly needed it more than me. Bums.
